I'm new here ... been a lurker for years but finally I thought I have to wade in and say what a disgrace some of you are here .

The sack rafa brigade needs to check themselves, FFS it is ONLY the answer if you can provide names of managers who will do better WITH THIS SQUAD... Any manager coming in will realise that rafa hasnt been asking for funds for no reason.

Bottom line is we still do NOT have the quality of the top 3, and unfortunately money talks in this league - we spent a shitload before this season, but that in all honesty was because thats what it took to get a world class striker in the squad - and one that i have no doubt will be leading goal scorer for years to come.

On todays game, FFS the last 2 games, the opposition has put everyone into the box and then just counterpunched us - we were unlucky and to sack rafa because of that is :censored:.
Don't tell me any of the top 3 would have broken down the defences over the last 2 games any better than we attempted - only differences is some :censored: like o'shea would have got a lucky knob on the ball and scored off a set piece ...

Anyway, go easy on me  I just think this sack :censored: talk has got to stop - and for the :censored: calling him a fat so and so, you should be red-carded and fark off as no real fan talks like that !

If Rafa is so brill why has he ever finished about 3rd, yes he won the champion's league with houllier's team except a couple of player that were his. Houllier finished 2nd our best ever place in the prem, he won us that wonderful treblesomething Benitez has never done.

some of us dont have a choice but to watch matches from the armchair, Anfield on holds 40 odd thousand home fans so wind your neck in with the 'armchair fan' bollx.

that may be but its my honest opinion. I don't want to call for the managers head, but I also dont want this team to stagnate and always be an also ran in the league. Sooner or later something has got to give.

I'm tired of seeing what is a great squad simply not achieve what its capable of

Rafa made a mistake tonight. Should have played 2 up front. Our wide players are not good enough (as well as the fact they are just returning from injury) for us to only play one striker. If we had a Robben/Ronaldo type of winger, we would be able to get away with it. We need to go for the jugular against teams like Wigan. It really looks like we are out of it this season and I am gutted.

Didn't Houllier spend £150 million in total?

Will u calm down mate !!!!

If we win our game in hand we we are wat 5 points awaay from chelsea so relax ...

I think a majority of us have all lost faith in Benitez's ability to conjure a League Championship in his 4 seasons as Liverpool Manager. The European Cup & The FA Cup is not the trophy we were set out to win for 2007/08 season as our "main" objective.

As much as I admire Rafa. I think its time for him to "rotate" himself out of the club & find someone like Klinsmann or Mourhino who can break it at this high level.

It's home form that's taken us out of the running.

dont think it was that much like but hasnt Benitez spent roughly the same. £13 million on babbel and play's him on the left were he looks lost(he is a left sided forward) not a left winger, put vorinin on the right isnt he a forward, plays arbeloa in the centre when we have hobbs there who in my eye's is a better player in his natural postion CB. £10 million for Kuyt i know who got the best deal there and it wernt us.Crouch top scoring striker last season doesnt even get a look in now WHY?.

lets do a Newcastle on it and sack the manager for getting us nearly relegated.......oh sorry we won a Champions League and an FA cup and we got to another Champion League under Sam ....eh I mean Rafa Benitez....
The panic and criticism is like what is going on at Newcastle only we are in the next round of the champions league and fifth in the league... Some people on here need to get a grip, get behind the manager it took Ferguson years to turn around things at Old Trafford and Wenger for all his genius hasnt done it in Europe yet after ten years there.
PATIENCE is needed folks, ignore the hype and the Five live phone in idiots who think they know it all.
