I seriously do not know how true this is, but it does come from a source that is right about 80% of the time!

I don't know what it is, but when I read this it brought a smile to my face, particularly when I read the Parry bit. God, I hope it's true! If only to see that w@nker go! Please, God, please! probably bollox, though.

Not from the likes of Wigan and Derby, the latter we only just scraped a win over. Add the two defeats that preceded that 8 from 12 and you have 8 from 18 or just two wins in six including a last gasp win over the side rock bottom who have a meagre seven points (four taken off Newcastle! :D )
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

why not pick our best team against Wigan? or does he think that one striker up front is our best team  and if that is the case then how come it has taken this long for him to decide that and why do we have four strikers if one striker up front is the best formation.

Did we have to pack midfield in a tactical battle against the mighty Wigan - at home!!

He is panicking, he has no idea what his best team is, has no direction, we are not building.

He should be given no money in January and told to work with the expensive squad he has purchased. Any new manager in the Summer will need that money.

I think Rafa would argue that his Best team is constantly changing. This is because players (and not just on this team) go in and out of both form and fitness.  How could you expect Rafa to compete with the other top clubs if they get the chance to improve their teams while he does not? He should definately be given money in January, he has a good record of finding players in January.

Something that might work in Rafa's favor in staying is the fact that there seems to be some trouble in financing the stadium. If the owners do stay and invest, they are going to want to minimize risk on the footballing front, and they don't know if they would be able to bring in a better manager and if that manager would work well with the club.  Even if he is not backed, and forced to sell to buy, you can be pretty sure that we can still finish top 4 and make a run in the CL with Rafa. Probably not good enough for the fans, but its Gillette and Hicks decision to make.

Was discussing with my colleagues (they are all manc and arsenal supporters....Thats why i hate to go to work when we lose ) and one of them mentioned that the problem with rafa is that he is a great coach.....but he does not have what it takes to be a great manager..... :Oo:

Actually he might be correct....Rafa is all about tactics and consulting his laptop but what does he bring to the table to motivating the players ?

Take this for an example...Anderson of manure had a bad game in the league cup....Fergie took him to task...and look how he is performing.

Joe Cole was a clown when he 1st went to chelsea....mourinho took him to task..and he looks a class act now.

But....look at us.
1)
Kuyt plays like sh1t.......and the week after he does no better. Then he gets dropped for 2 games....and comes back and does the same sh1t again.

2)Babel plays on the wings.....keeps trying to take on players and keeps losing the ball..... Then next time he starts he does the same stuff...

3)Sissoko does whatever he does.......and does it like only he knows how...... and still there is no one in this league who is better than sissoko in breaking up the play of opposition and then giving them back the ball in the next instance. No improvement....he does this sh1t everytime he plays.

4)This brings me to Garcia....he keeps trying the backflicks which breaks up our play. And he keeps doing this every game....

I mean....what does rafa do ? Doesn't he go to the players and tell them to buck up ? Why do the players do the same sh1t every game.....Why isn't there any improvement.... Manure players rarely play sh1t for 2 games as fergie will sort them out....But why do we keep playing sh1t so frequently ?

Maybe rafa is just not cut out to be a manager....(but he is a great coach...i give him that).

It is expensive to sack managers these days. When is his contract up?

Its more expensive to the progress of this football club to sack him this season or next than all the tea in china.

Further to my rafa the coach not a manager posting......Maybe if we hire a Techincal Advisor like Frank Arneson who scouts for players (who are good enough to play in this league)..and recommend players it might actually help out rafa.....

That way..rafa can do what he loves....coaching  :p

Seriously...think this overseeing of the whole club structure might be too much for him...he should concentrate on what he is absolutely good at ...coaching.

The buying of players should be done by a techical advisor.

No I would not. Look at the last two years. Agger, Fowler, Mascherano, Arbeloa

Pelligrino did more for this club than a few performances that you watch on a television from a zillion miles away.

There is a hell of a lot more than 90 minutes twice a week to football and football clubs.

Arbeloa, after Carra, has been our best defender in the last 12 months and has played out of position for most of it, I do not see how you could say that he was not a good signing. We got him out of nowhere, nobody had heard of him. He is very versatile, as well as talented.
