why was Pennant played today? and to start also? don't they usually start players who just came back from injury on the bench?


Ye the would but surely it was only Wigan ???

Pennant's alright, not consistent enough. Torres is consistent, so is Carra. Thats what we need more of.

Kuyt was a complete waste anyway. He does'nt score...but he works hard...but he's paid to score...Voronin does nothing anymore, his last good game was against Besiktas. Crouch, well we have'nt really seen him have we....

I hope he stays. We all know how good he can be, and he provided a cross for wat should have been a goal this morning as well, a couple of times in fact. Great winger, great crosser, and isn't afraid to take players on either.

you are not talking about Pennant are you?  Because he is certainly not a great winger, crosser and isn't afraid to take players.
