Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby ZlatanIbrahimovic8 » Mon Dec 31, 2007 11:27 am

Hi Guys

I would like to have some information about the trip to liverpool for Liverpool - inter of 19th feb.

I booked the flight from milan to manchester, how many miles there are from manchester to liverpool? Which pubblic transport I have to take to reach liverpool?

I could also give you some information about milano.
Milano has 3 airports
Malpensa: 55 km from the centre
Bergamo Orio al serio: 60 km from the centre
Linate: 10 km From the centre

All the 3 airport are good to reach the city, I suggest to you not to take any taxis but to use pubblic transport. From malpensa you have to take MalpensaExpress (a train that reach downtown in 35 minutes), from bergamo Orio al serio there is a bus in 50 minutes you will be in the city centre, and from Linate there are also buses for the city centre. One time you will arrive in city centre you can reach the stadium by underground, Stop is Lotto-Fiera of the red line(Linea 1).

If you have some info for me about liverpool, thank you very much!!

^ I like this guy. :D

There are regular trains from the train station at Manchester Airport to Manchester Piccadilly (journey 25-35 mins depending on the train), and once you're there, there are regular trains from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street (journey approx 50 mins).

From there I refer you to the info on the liverpoolfc.tv site...

"Lime Street Railway Station is two miles from Anfield. A taxi from Lime St. will cost about £4.00 for up to 5 passengers. Buses go from nearby Queen Square Bus Station. On match days use the Merseyrail network to link with the Soccerbus service from Sandhills Station."

Manchester Airport to LFC  Hope this helps

I would have thought that a taxi or hire a car between yourself and a few friends is the best option.  The train is also an option but I think you may have to get one from Manchester Airport to Manchester (Piccadilly Station) and then on to Liverpool (Lime Street Station)... and then a taxi from there.

That's good, because we can be a BIG surprize!
It's a very tought match, because you have a great tradition  in the Champions League but we are a very good team now!
Just to let you know which kind of team will come to Anfield in 50 days...I paste you some INTER " numbers" from this year:

[I]MILAN - Inter capped an extraordinary year with yesterday's 2-1 derby victory over AC Milan.

The defending Italian champions played 37 league matches from 13 January to 23 December 2007, collecting 92 points - 22 more than Roma. No team has managed a points per match average of 2.48 in one calendar year since three points were awarded for a Serie A victory.

With Sunday's Christmas derby win the Nerazzurri stretched their unbeaten league run to 23 games, their last defeat coming against Roma at the Meazza in April. Away from home, Mancini's men are unbeaten in 28 league games (20 wins and 8 draws).

The derby win over AC Milan was Inter's 10th consecutive victory in all competitions (6 in Serie A, 3 in Champions League, 1 in Coppa Italia).

In league games at the Meazza this season Javier Zanetti & Co. have won 25 out of a possible 27 points. The Nerazzurri have scored in 47 consecutive home games, netting a total of 112 goals.

Roberto Mancini's team are 2007/08 'winter champions' with two games of the first half of the Serie A season still to play

Ye well it depends on wat Liverpool team shows up at the games .....
Equally the same for Inter ......

You can come on here and splat out ur stats on how many points u gathered in Seria A but the EPL is a much harder League than the Seria A so i wouldnt worry too much about that ....

I'd rather say that Premier League is more spectacular than the serie A. Our league is not easy at all, especially for the big teams. They always have troubles in winning against relegation battling sides. About our winning streak, ok you can underestimate it but Inter made something that hasn't happened anywhere else and if for example, Bayern and Lyon had done the same (in much weaker leagues than the serie A), everybody in Europe would cream in their pants saying what big teams they are.

It doesn't matter, wears and colors...is the culture that count.

As a lazio fan i hope one day to meet Fc Liverpool in Rome and at Anfield, but may be we will meet in the new Stanley Park...

all the Liverpool fc fans will have a really warm welcome in Rome, to demonstrate that in Rome a lot of Roman people the most (people with a working brain) loves them.

Ibra?
Is a top class football player.... as a diver, he can only play with arms and hands...be carefull reds about this...

Inter is a good team of corrupt and spy management (moratti and tronchetti provera), that no won nothing from about 20 years, and for win last year they've just try to demolite their first competitors in Italy (Lazio Milan Juventus Fiorentina)...invading the privacy and giving illegal text and voice of telephone call with nothing illegal (particularly for Lazio) all around the country.

C'mon Reds.

I can't believe that you're a Lazio fan, you must be a Juve fan in disguise, 'cause only frustated supporters of that f****** team can write such bulls*it about the match fixing scandal, or maybe you're a non-Italian Lazio fan, otherwise you would know that Inter and Lazio fans have a long time friendship and none of them would say something bad about each other's team. It wasn't Moratti or Tronchetti Provera who started the phone interceptions but it was actually the Italian financial police from Napoli (Guardia di Finanza), which was investigating about some mafia clans. While listening the phone tappings they intercepted Moggi and his crew and the whole scandal came out. Lazio was fully involved and the charges against the team were right. It's not true that we haven't won anything for 20 years, our last trophy before the 2005 Italian Cup was the 1998 Uefa Cup, one of the best match of our history, Inter-Lazio 3-0 hehe. I am thinking that this is the reason of your hatred towards Inter.

Red fans you should know that the most dominant group of Lazio ultras (Irriducibili) are friends of Chelsea Headhunters, so I don't see how you can be given a warm welcome in Rome if you're ever playing against Lazio. But since they're struggling to avoid relegation I don't think that such a match is likely to take place in the near future hehe

If you read well, i'm not talking about inter milan fans...and i'm not going to do it now, because i like inter fans...i do not like the management (tronchetti provera and moratti)...Inter is always a glorious team, but unfortunately for you since this management took the club, they won nothing...
My last remind of big Inter was with Rumenigge...etc...different management, you should know better than me.

about lazio fans, i know for sure that 99% of Lazio supporters LOVE LIVERPOOL FC and THEIR SUPPORTERS INCLUDING THE KOP, if a minority like Chelsea, or Arsenal o Man Utd, is just because of a small tendence.

False :you cannot consider Moratti's management work till 2006 season as all the decade 96/06 is heavily covered of " mud ".
The same mud which Moggi comes from , JFY.

It's obvious that you don't have to face mafia in your country.

To build up a good and competitive (i mean top class) , football team ,
if you weren't called AC Milan or Juventus , it was nearly impossible.

Funny how things turned out now , don't you think?

Anyway that " good " management that you speak about was Pellegrini's one.
It was far from being good.
He just took inter in the middle 80s , purchased 3/4 champions , then sold every good player in the team , replacing with bad ones , and then sold to Moratti in the middle 90s.

To prove you are wrong , i would like to tell you that every FC Internazionale's team (not only 1st squad then , but also youngsters) , is 1st in the respective categories , this comes only with long-eye programming , and football schools all around the world (Inter Campus).

Cheers

you can be first of course, but just locally...only making industrial spy to win, or having some referee on the payroll, or some like that, never because of ability, brain, winning experience or other...

I repeat you: your presidents.

Ciao

Ps. Is Christian Vieri followed again by the spies of moratti and tronchetti?

You're definitely a :censored:, that's the truth. I won't even waste other time to reply the bullsh*t you wrote. Saying that Inter hasn't showed ability in dominating the Serie A in the past two years means that you don't have a clue about football or worse that you're a frustrated Ac or Juve fan. Authentic Lazio supporters would agree with what I'm saying.
