Hope rafa finally learns...don't fu@k with the team.....

1)No more Alonso and Gerrard Midfield combo (derby were over-running us)
2)Keep Riise at LB..... Auerlio is a worse LB than Riise
3)No more Babel on the wings please.......rafa you are gonna spoil his career.
4)Kewell, Gerrard, Torres, Carra, Mash and Benayoun(Pennant) have to start all our league games....doesn't matter if we play against wigan or fulham. The other players are not good enough to replace them.

We were over-run by derby in midfield.....can u believe it ?

Are you saying we should drop Alonso?

He was our best player by a mile today.

The majority of the team were so lackadaisical in the 2nd half. It's likely the missed chances got to them but we should be strong enough to impose ourselves on teams like Derby even if they do get a lucky goal. (Am I the only one who thought they had 3 players offside? Admittedly my picture quality wasn't that good).

I'll be happy when Pennant gets fit. Actually I'll be happy when Rafa realises Voronin should be 5th choice striker and last choice winger!!!

Alonso was great....he is a good player. This is not a dig at Alonso....But Gerrard loses his edge when he is paired when Alonso IMO. He was playing too deep covering for alonso.

But when it became evident we needed to win...he was running all over the place.

The thing is when he plays with Mash..Gerrard will terrorise the opposition players from the start of the match.

Thats my take....

BTW, John Burridge also has the same opinion as me....  :p  And Pee Wee too.....

that was a performance worthy of MOTM but before gerrard , i think alonos would have to be MOTM for me , he never gave one ball away , nothing , his passes were pin point accurate . i think that due to being too used to be playing with masch who defends and lets gerrard attack , today's change gerrard had to do both , alonso was a good player today but gerrard needs to be shifted to thr right if we want to accomodate both alonso and masch and kewell on the left with babel and torres upfront . teams would shiver against us

Quick pass me whatever you are smoking before they bust your joint..
Pin point acuracy from Alonso? You got to be kidding me. He was :censored: poor. Please watch the match again from start to finish. His pass has been a disappointment. To be honest, if Liverpool wants to be in a next level challenging for the title we need better playmakers (more than one). We have absolutely no idea in the midfield department.. including Alonso.

It's his first Premiership start for months FFS, he's hardly going to be at the top of his game

If he can't be on top of his game then he better prepare to take some stick. This is no reason, it is just an excuse..

I think Babel played well. He held the ball high up the pitch well enough and laid off a few good balls which weren't fully taken advantage of. If anyone is guilty of having a shocker, it was Vornin. He was far too tepid in his approach on goal and made a mess of a few of these lay-offs that Babel made. Instead of attacking, he passes backwards. Reminds me too much of Kuyt. These two should be sold if possible. Babel will need time. For anyone to suggest he isn't good enough or a waste of money is just madness considering he's only played a bit part role for barely half a season. Sometimes our supporters are just to quick to dismiss a player, which is wrong.

3 points is 3 points is 3 points.

Its a sign of good team that can play that badly and STILL get the result that it needed.  We already had a plus 6 goal difference against them most teams wont get more  than 7 so taking all 6 points from Derby is all you CAN do.  At the end of the day it doesn't matter that we played like cr@p, because we have shown that we are capable of turning right around and playing some inspiring football again.  Rafa might have gotten lucky today or gotten away with it today, but he DID get lucky and DID get away with it.  Now we just need to focus on putting the best possible team out there to win at City.

So what you're actually saying is that Alonso should be at the top of his game despite the fact it's his first Premiership game after a long injury layoff??

You clearly know nothing about football and you certainly must never have played the game yourself.

No offense, but anyone saying that Alonso is poor and are thinking of him not being good enough for his team needs their head's checked and needs educating on the game. Ridiculous comments from some people, honestly.

That performance was fucking woeful, and that Voronin wouldnt even get a game for derby, why he is wearing a Liverpool shirt I do not know.

Yes we got 3 points, I should be happy but with what Ive just witnessed Im far from it.

Disgracefull.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.
