I saw England vs. Croatia on Wembley month ago, and for me - except Beckham, Gerard and Crouch, in England team I didn't see any player who really wants to win. I think biggest part of English players thought that Croatia will not play, just surrender.
Secondly, English national team was 11 players on the pitch, but they didnt look like a team.
OK, my Croatia won, but I was really dissapointed. What is European championship without England?

Here in Croatia we got manager called 'Croatian Steve McLaren'. Why he has that nickname? Because he don't now anything about football, but he is constantly in charge with croatian premier league clubs. Why? Nobody knows.2. Due to his ginger-haired incompetence, he picked players who the media decided were good enough, rather than effective team players.
Fat Frank, Joe Cole, Wes f*cking Brown, Alan Smith, and at least 10 other player used during his reign are barely good enough to play in the Premiership, let alone for their national side.
Biggest 'enigma' for me was Gareth Barry, and his role in McLarens's first 11. He looked like he is totaly lost. It was like England played with 10 vs. croatian 11.ANyhoo - welcome to the forum Alan.
