INTER MILAN vs LIVERPOOL: CL-11/03/08 - 2nd Leg - Build up and Match Discussion

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

No, I meant Liverpool is playing CL because 4 teams are allowed to play now, not just champions like it was 10 years ago and before. Same goes for Inter too.

The Inter fans are some of the sound Italian fans out there. You can also tell by the way they have come and presented themselves on this forum. I bought my first Inter Jersey
in Rome when i was there years ago. Top team. Some of the 'locals' on this forum need to relax a little.

In the end, i hope its a fantastic game and LFC win.

How can you say Inter was blessed when they were controlling referees, and not just referees, for more then 10 years and Inter was out of it? How can you win anything in those conditions?

Inter was blessed with been essentially handed the title in the wake of the scandal, and also as a consequence of Juventus and AC Milan being relegated and docked points respectively. Inter hadn't won the title since 1989. Are you claiming that every season from 1990 until 2005 was fixed?

It's easy to say Inter was lucky they were punished last summer, but you weren't in the stadium or in front of TV every Sunday last 15 years watching corrupt referees again and again.

It wasn't the "last 15 years". There had been match fixing in 1980 and 2005. Nothing else has been officially confirmed.

In last 18 months Inter has played 9 matches against top Italian clubs in Serie A (Roma, Milan, Fiorentina and Juve). 7 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat. Not that title was won just because of punishments.

Fiorentina are :censored:. AC Milan are now an aging team. Juventus are pretty much the same and you only drew 1-1 with them. Roma are so good Man Utd thrashed them last season 7-1.

I thought we were not gona talk corruption aymore!

Anyway if you reall wanna talk abou it:

1.YES THE LAST 15 YEARS OF SERIE A WERE ALL RIGGED! of course it wasnt official as it was THE OFFICIALS that were corrupt! why wud berlusconis media dig dirt on his own team? imagine if rupert murdoch owned a team..the media would control all the scandals dont u think, for us berlusconi is not only a media magnate but he was Prime minister and richest man..c'mon the link is easy to see....

2.When the scandal frst emerged involving juve, AC Bilan  (milan in serie b... :rasp ) tried to claim the league, before it emerged they were inolved themselves!

3. If Bilan are so old and useless why could you not beat them last year, and why are they world club champions - i still think they are fags but they did win a few cups...

4.Fiorentina was punished more than Bilan and they have the same Pazzini that scored 3 at wembley debut!

5.I agree juventus is shyte thats why when u say taht beatin them means u can beat us ure wrong coz they are useless, and under capello they were the most boring team in italy!

6.Ronaldo did somehting terrible to us, imagine you cure somebody for 2 yers witing for him, then not only he f'd off to real, but then he returns to our rival clubs...in italy we hate this...imagine if somebody like Owen or Stevie G went to everton or man utd...wud you not egg his car?

7. You also waste money: THE ENIGMA!cissè

8. Rome is prolly the most inconsistent team in italy, yes man utd pumped them 7 goals, but also arsenal gave you how many arlier this year, and we do not say u suck coz of just 1 bad game, roma play beautiful footie just it don produce many results...
and btw also we pumped them 4-1 alredy this year!but it was heped by Giuly who was given a red card early for intentionl handball, (wuda been a goal anyway)
------------

That said i still hope we can have a wonderful evening singing  our 'crazy inter' songs in reply to your 'Never walk alone'

By the way do u guys like our away kit with george's cross? the milan cross is the same as england's  another reason to bring us closer, we were really hoping we could be frinedly fans, maybe even twin one day...or at least beer buddies  coz most of the interfans posting here we know each other from our Interfans forum and we are real fans who will all be there on the 19th feb, in liverpool capital of culture and beatlemania land! :buttrock  :buttrock

Moggi's system has started from day 1 he came to Juve in 1994. Why do you think they brought him? They knew exactly what he will do. Investigations have started only after death of both Agnelli brothers because they were too powerful to go against before.

We Italian deserved to win the World Cup, maybe we didn't play spectacular football but we were the best team with no doubts. Saying that we fixed the competition means being jealous of our four World Cup wins

Look m8, if you guy don't want to talk to us but just amongst yourselves jut say so and well leave, its just ive never encountered such an unfriendly reception from fans with whom we have no hstory of hostilities, i just hope its a few sad individuals and not the feeling of the whole KOP.

What's our world cup got to do with anything now? we won it because nobody was able to score a real goal against us, only 1 penalty and 1 own goal, we may not have given  beatiful display of skills but yo cannot deny our team had balls! like the germany game ...come on dont be narrow minded lets enjoy ourselves here...what next, wanna blame us for you not being at euro 08?

i still don't see why any liverpool fan would be that worried by ibrahimovic, whatever his form's been like this season. he's still more likely than not to go missing during these games if you ask me. for juventus a few years back against us he was truly shocking.

at the moment i think cruz is a bigger threat than ibrahimovic.

also, another thing for the inter fans. there has been a lot of talk recently about adriano coming to the premiership in the transfer window. obviously it would be a huge risk but could you see him being a success in this country?

Hes definatley got the ability, but its just a question of if he could adapt to the English style. I think he could but he would be quite pricey.

There have been lots of rumours about Manchester City and West Ham wanting to sign Adriano in January but this is very unlikely to happen since he just went on loan to the Brazilian club Sao Paulo. He will be in their squad until next June, when he's supposed to come back to Italy. At the moment he's far away from being the player that the all the european fans admired on the pitch. He has lots of personal problems that prevented him from performing well with Inter. Our chairman Moratti still is confident about Adriano being a great player again or 'L'imperatore' (The Emperor) as we Inter fans call him. I think that his playing style, above all his physical strenght and his powerful shoot make him a great player (if he's in form). He would surely suit the Premier League in my opinion

it is a long story ... is the fake name of a character, in a famous italian comical movie, that did not want to pay the bus ticket ... difficult to explain.
