second leg will be on tuesday 11st march because on 4th march there will be AC-Arsenal.

Also two years ago there was the second leg the same day and inter postponed next week.

so all the return matches will be 4-5 march, inter - liverpool will be 11

in my opinion this is the toughest draw of them all

inter are by far the best team in italy, these will be hard to bowl over

strong all over the park

but eh if you wanna win it you gotta beat all them top teams, comon reds i know we can do it

Italian football has always had its problems, when has there ever been a time in recent memory without a scandal of some sort involving Italian football?

You're absolutely right, it was a mighty scandal which we Italians are ashamed of but Inter for example had nothing to do with it. We were actually the most damaged team by the mafia alike organization which was built up by Moggi (the former Juventus team manager) and his crew. What I was talking about was referred exclusively to football, I'm sick of hearing that the Italian football is boring and based exclusively on the so called 'catenaccio'. There are barely any teams which use this playing method and there are lots of teams which play attacking football, Inter, the Ac Milan :censored:, Fiorentina, Roma. Since we Italians are always respectful towards the English teams I think that it would be fair if you english fans did the same.

We have absolute respect for Inter, they have great supporters (with the exception of a few 'ultras'). In general though, Italian football needs to be cleaned up. The reports of games being indefinitely suspended due to violence are seemingly incessant. The latest episode of violence were Man U supporters being stabbed in Rome. That's not football, that's downright thuggery.

It will be a couple of tight games, and much will also depend on each of our form come february. Injuries might also play in to the games, so really it is too early to predict anything concrete. I'm sure it will be a couple of tough games though, hopefully with the mighty reds prevailing :)

I quote you....
we hope that all injuries are finished...
vieira (2 weeks)
figo (2 weeks)
stankovic (is possible 3 month)
dacourt (out untill end of season)

I hope to come at anfield like this

J.Cesar
Maicon
Materazzi
Cordoba
Chivu
Cambiasso
Zanetti
Vieira
Stankovic
Cruz
Ibrahimovic

That's quite a good team that. But what I meant was, that other players might get injured before february, and so we really can't say just yet, which teams any of us will put out.

inter already 7 points ahead in italy

in my view ac milan have better players but inter play as a unit and team much better

will be very hard to beat

Thuggery is the right word to describe what happened to the Man United fans. Roma supporters are one of a kind (in a negative way). They have a long time hatred towards all english teams 'cause Roma got the worst defeats against English teams. Think about the 1984 CL final against Liverpool. Roma fans still think about that match and consider that day the worst of their lives. That's the reason why it's always dangerous to travel to Rome for the english fans. I'm not justifying them anyway. We Italians consider England as the role model against football violence. We're trying to do the same things you did against hooliganism.

Hmm. It's Not That bad. sure, i hoped we had teams wich are not high talented.
But now we got 5 great teams. But, but, If you will see it on this side; The team look good because they are olmost all above the 4th place in the competition, But spain and italy Has Verry verry verry bad clubs on the competition, But in the premier league it's Not the same. Premier league has good clubs, Like chelsea manchester tottenham arsenal everton and many more. So You can't say liverpool has a bad season, It will come! Believe me, like they always do!  May we all just believe in liverpool, and hope They will past the next round!  Thank you!
