Well I've been accused of some things in my time but fecking hell  Look fella I don't defend the manager when I think he's made a mistake, but what he did tonight was ultra-sensible in my opinion. What if he had played his strongest team and we had got done 2-0, or one of the best players had got injured? It would have been ridiculous.

Playing Torres away at reading in the Carling Cup while "resting" him in two consecutive Premiership fixtures in the same period was ridiculous. "resting" him here when he has just come off the back of two games, one of which was Away to arseilles and the other of which was at Home to Man Utd was an obvious, and a sensible move.

Maybe they cant play together or havent played enough together but we are LFC and I have to be honest they where awful for two Liverpool forwards.

Im glad we are out in a way cant afford more games but the fringe players arnt going to be happy not getting a game.

Thought we done well the first half but no clinical finish again, this has to be sorted, when Torres and Gerrard dont play we look quite ordinary, but still Chelsea had their first team out and looked more ordinary.

Us nor Chelsea have a patch on that Arsenal team that played last night that second team of Arsenals would be second in the league now, where the fuck does Wenger find them?

This is true. No matter how many people think Crouch is good, or how nice a fella he is, fact is fact: he's NOT good enough for Liverpool. Crouch, Voronin, Kuyt and Sissoko all should be sold, and maybe JAR. Time to get funds and spend on one or possibly two class acts that do deserve to be in our ranks. It's time these f*cking Yanks realize that they must spend big otherwise Arsenal will blow everything away with that youth talent they have within the next few seasons, nevermind the likes of Chelsea and the Mancs. We need class acts, not freebies like Voronin.

Regarding the game, I thought we played well first half with practically our reserve team, though I though Babel sat a bit too deep, and Crouch was useless up front as a lone striker. But for Fat bollox's fluky goal (Carragher thought so afterwards as he seemed to say "jammy :censored:" during fat w@nks celebration) and Crouch's red card (which I thought was bollox) we were a match for them. Ah well, they need this cup more than us. It will give their checkered plastic flag waving fans something to boast about in years to come and make them feel as if they actually are something. Small fries. They should come to their senses and realize this.

Joke what you want mate but you cant fault his methods. Ther kids played us of the park at home last season twice in the space of a few days. That 6-2 was probabaly one of the lowest points ive ever felt as a Liverpool fan. Wenger can certainely pick the right players. Hes got it wrong aswell on a few occasions but more often than not he gets it right.

I cant help but agree with that and its kind of upsetting knowing that we will never get talent like that in the near future :( let alone a full team of them lol.

Still we got Leto :D

ah feck 6-3 dont remind me  :D You get my point though. To be honest im not bothered about tonight its the worthless cup, I was happy we got to the final a few years ago but we got there with all kids so that was different. We have the FA Cup and Europe to conentrate on so lets give it all for that.

Still though its not like we played all reserves tonight. IM happy though with Lucas, I wanted him to get more minutes against some bigger teams so im glad he got that.

Wenger breeds his young players in a secret base in central Africa.
