i think we have played brilliantly in this first half , but we have retained the ball well enough , passed it around but one thing annoys me is the back heels , how sure are u that ur team mate will be there , 2 times in decent positon the players did that and lost the ball . what happens if this game ends in a draw? return leg at anfiedl or extra time? not really sure abt milk cup ruless

considering a long absence from competitive games, for me Alonso is still just great, not rusty at all .. good control of the ball and spraying accurate passes. MOM by halftime imo.

a few sloppy passes but thats expected but other then that great

Thank you for your comments (all of you) as I'll watch the game once downloaded .

I have sympathy to what you say about back heels, because despite being Spanish I don't like nonsenses in football.

A back heel can be a useful resource at times, but it píssed me off a bit to see a succesful one in latest Spanish game and then a player of our team trying it in the next Liverpool game. Sometimes some touches are done, they become fashionable and then are done too much.

They know the team mate is there because they train and know each other together, but I don't like it as a showy move, just a resource that can be useful only sometimes.
