That's why Torres has imitated that gesture in celebration a couple of times.

Kiko was a good striker, he was the striker that Spain played in Euro 1996 against England, that game that was quite leveled and ended up in the penalties.

Torres has improved his admired player, no doubt. Probably he equaled him while in Atletico if you see what I mean, but what Torres is achieving here is putting him way beyond. We're seeing a very consistent Torres in England, and may it continue.

Good to see you've come round on the issue of Torres.

Because you were dead set against the lad when he was at Atletico.

True mate. I was being honest. Wrong, but honest.

And when one's wrong, it's only fair to admit it. I've done so quite a lot of times by now! And I'll eat humble pie happily as long as Torres keep scoring for Liverpool.

What do you think of Vincente? My friends in Spain say Koemen is getting rid of him and we are interested

The Vicente before his nightmare of injuries was a player I rated a lot and an excellent winger. I don't think you can find more than 2 or 3 players in Spain that could improve what Kewell provides and Vicente as I've known him is one of them.

Now he's come back from injury and is playing Valencia again. To be honest this season I haven't seen much of primera games, meaning I've only seen highlights, not complete 90 min games.

I've been focusing in the segunda (2nd division)  and Liverpool, but I feel like rejoining again to the primera football again and I'll tell you then if the current post injury Vicente is the same player.

It could be a viable buy if he's fit because they have Silva aswell and and Valencia is apparently having a lot of internal plroblems. Wouldn't be surprised if a couple of important players left, but I don't think those important movements will be in the winter market, it's not the way it uses to work here.

True. But Koemen wants new players and must sell to buy.

And I hear he has a fire sale on the cards.
