Seems to me Man U played a familiar game and done us again. They kept it very tight and knew with the quality of forwards they have they'd get some chances and hopefully take them. You have to say job done on their part. We were a bit unlucky in not getting a goal but we didnt really put them under pressure - we just didnt rattle them like we have in the past or did to Chelsea this season. Its a bit worrying to me - Arsenal and Man U have both come to Liverpool, have took 4 out of 6 points and controlled the game.

Hes a shadow of the player he was, for Liverpool and England..a big factor on why we are not in euro 08.

The very same tactics that enabled us to thrash marseille in there own backyard where Gerrard was held back?

Get some tissues, wipe the cack from your mouth and give your tiny little brain a rest.

Again im just giving my opinion, there was no need for sarcasm .
If you honestly think beating a french team who are 14th in Lige1  in their own backyard is anything special then youre insane.
The true fact is -the same team was played today against decent oposition..and was found wanting.

Holy f*ck, who are you? What hole did you crawl from, mate? Shows your knowledge of the game when you can't understand the magnitude of the victory against Marseille. Let me educate you how good that victory was, eh! NO other English club has went there and won. Now considering the situation at the time, us needing to win and only a win to go through and all that, winning 4-0 there was a massive victory. One of the best ever from an English side  in Europe in fact. Go read a book. You'll learn something.

Yes I do believe Man U are in the elite. You say Liverpool could beat them ...but they didnt. Anyone can beat anyone on any given day-that football. But the real result comes in May.
Stop going on about possession, Man Utd scored and ALLOWED Liverpool to play, you know if Liverpool hadve scored it would have been a different call from Ferguson.ATTACK. Something both Man u and Arsenal do better than anyone else.

Are you having a laugh here, or what? Is this post a p*ss take? According to your wisdom, United scored and allowed us to play?!

No harm, but that's some of the biggest amount of bollox I've ever read on this forum. For one thing, you don't just allow a team like Liverpool to play football. This is how it really went: they scored, realized how lucky they got, and then decided to shut up shop because we were down their throats from the outset. Hold what you've got was their mentallity. You don't just come to Anfield and expect to get a free flowing game off football if you're in need of a goal. Had we scored first, we'd have likely beaten them. Had we equalized, we'd have likely drawn or beaten them. That's why they defended in spades. They were under pressure put on by us. They didn't let us play. Any more pearls of wisdom?

Hey I am really sweet Al! Nice of you to notice that!

I am not sure why you are so happy about ?

Arsenal are gonna win the league

And we are gonna win the champions league, Fa cup and league cup....

Maybe finishing 2nd is sort of an accomplishment for your club ?  :p

Wouldn't that be sweet! indeed. It'll slap it up my cousin who's a Manc :censored: that left me messages offline about the win. I really hope the get nothing and we win the CL again. It's not my style to wind other supporters up if we beat their team, but now that's changed. If this comes true, I'll make him remember it for a full season.

what same tactics?? It was clearly we didn't bomb the ball long to our strikers when we were playing Marseille, we tried to beat their defenders, not kicking it long from all the way from our defensive half to the box like we did against MU. This long ball tactics does not work!!!

Had we did that.

The fact is  WE DIDNT!

The fact is -they scored first. They sat back and let us come at them. They defended superbly. AND They WON.

To lift 3 points from Anfield is pretty darn good IMHO!

And with that, you've just betrayed your vast knowledge of football, plus proven to us that you are indeed a fortune teller.

So Arsenal have no balls, yet they've already won the league several times in recent memory. Yeah, you make sense alright.

Chelsea - last won the Prem just two seasons ago and had won it twice on the trot, are doing well enough in the league at the moment and have still enough quality to win it.

Liverpool - always good enough to win it. have the quality, just don't have the consistency to deliver on that potential.

Why are you on this forum? you're clearly a Manc WUM. Go fu*ck off to their boards and lick some pie.
