Crouch is a goal scoring threat.....Kuyt ain't.
I cant see Crouch as a goalscoring threat either.
But all our strikers suffer from our bad midfield.

Sorry but this match showed the obvious lack of creativity in the midfield. Kewell is the only real winger, and he has just come back from god knows how long injured. Hopefully he can get back to the form he was in years ago, but thats still a way off if he ever manages it. It doesnt help to have 4 great defensive midfielders when they share one spot. We cant depend on Torres or Gerrard doing it by himself every time.

We still have a few too many average players and against the real big hitters they fall short of whats required.
Out of todays line ups I would imagine only Gerrard and Torres would make the Utd team and thats what we are up against.
Unfortunately its a familiar tale for Liverpool and alas another season outside the top two places looks pretty likely now.
