LIVERPOOL VS MANCHESTER UNITED - Its time....its time to finally beat the

I don't think we're playing badly.

We made a mistake in their corner, Benayoun put Tevez in correct position, he stayed in the line of goal. A mistake a goal, but our game isn't being a cráp one. I think we can come back.

We are going to need three in the second half to take all the points on this one.  Babel for Kuyt and maybe aurelio on for Riise.  Otherwise, everyone else is doing their job.

I'm not very optimistic today. Our league challenge is over.

Rafa needs to step up and show he can do in the prem as he has done in the CL.

It was a poor goal (terrible ball-watching by Benayoun and non existent marking on Rooney) but we can bounce back. I just feel we are playing in lines a bit too much, whereas for them Rooney and Tevez are dropping in giving them an extra man all the time. Equally, so far Kewell has been poor and Kuyt is having a bit of a stinker to be perfectly fair to him.

It's like it always is though, tight but with not too many chances. Like a few have suggested, I'd have a look at Crouch coming on. Given there seems to be a distince possibility that Gerrard is going to get sent off for kicking that fecker Anderson (who is a good player on this showing BTW) I would seriously consider bringing Lucas on and moving the captain to the right. It would stop Evra's gallop a bit and he would offer more than Benayoun, who awful defending from the goal apart has contributed very little.

I'd like to think that, but I can't. Seen this too many times, and I even had the feeling they were going to score just before half time to sicken us, and like clockwork as per usual, they did just that. Typical. As I said before the game in this thread, the difference today will come down to us taking chances that come our way. We haven't done that, that's how I knew they'd get a lucky one. Typical.

Edit - I'll be amazed if we win this. Astounded. With their luck...yeah, right!

They made two mistakes and we failed to capitalize.  We made one and they stuck it in the net.  Usual stuff when we play United. :no At least this time we have a half to turn it around.
