Over the moon - Some has to be

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Red Dotty » Mon Dec 10, 2007 1:52 pm

Just thought i would post this not intending for a mass debate just how i feel after this weekend.

Yes we lost and yes we could all debate how and why we were beaten by a lower PL team as Reading
(No disrespect meant)

But the fact of the matter is Raffa does stuff like that, one week the worlds greatest, the next dooh what was he thinking.
But we are only severn points behind with a game in hand which is the hammers at home i think and with a great game to look forward to at the weekend scum at Anfield, December could be a great month for us.

I made a comment when Arsenal were running away with things that there bad spell would come and that they have not got the squad to cope and it would possibly be over the Chrimbo period. I think that is coming true as i would rather loose to a battling well organized Reading then a poor excuse for a team as Bora. :eyebrow

As most of you may know i am always trying to look through the rose tinted glasses but please do not be in any doubt

I am over the moon cause

WE ARE RIGHT IN THIS TITLE RACE :hearts

COME ON

well the fact that arsenal lost yesterday means that essentially we are in no worse position that we were before the weekend. it just makes the united game even bigger now as one/both of arsenal and chelsea will drop points next weekend.

i was at the boro-arsenal game yesterday and arsenal were pi$$ poor. i don't think they'll last the pace and i still maintain that whoever finishes above united will win it.

I despise him a little more every time I see him. He should of been sent off twice yesterday. Not to mention that tw@t Toure being constantly in the refs face.

I'm sick of the press w@nking over their style of football. They were just lumping it forward to Adebayor in the second half.

I was devasted still am.

I was devastated seeing the starting line up and formation, still am. It took the edge off the defeat.

I'm torn between two schools of thought :-

1) Rafa is over-tactical, tries to beat teams through tactics when we have a better team than them and should beat them anyway without fiddling. To win week in, week out it's better to play your best XI and stop mucking about with unneccessary changes.

2) Rafa underestimated Reading and thought he could play one at the back and nine up front and still beat them. Maybe he is too overconfident based on Carling Cup wins this season and last, thought they'd be a pushover (like the mancs thought Bolton would be)

But I'm guessing the thread starter is "over the moon" - Nana moon who died recently
