ermm surely we also need Arsenal to start loosing, and actually loose quite a few. There is no way we win the league this year not with that f**kwit Rafa in charge

Arsenal will start to lose games mate, they will lose half their team to the African nations cup! I would rather be chasing Arsenal than trying to catch the mancs. Thats why the game next week is so important.

Well at least now we can relax and forget about winning the league.  Our priority now in the league should be to improve our record against the big three and to get a champ league place.

I think we should just concentrate on getting through the CL and knocking Man City out of the top four before we start talking about the title again.

WE all seem to be losing our heads and rational thought this is our 1st loss this season, United and Chelsea have both lost 2 already this season.

Yes but there's also Chelsea mate. Do you honestly think we are going to beat Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea this season. Personally I'm just praying we make it into 4th spot   :oh:

Why does Rafa have to go and mess around with the team when we were playing so well, what the hell is wrong with him, I reckon they should investigate him for match fixing because he certainly has the power to loose games at will.

What a wonderful surprise, heimdall shows up when Liverpool lose.

where were you in the last 3 or 4 games mate?  ???

come on mate, we can hardly blame heimdall for this    :D

Thats my point....

people keep mentioning...

1)'oh arsenal are gonna drop loads of points in jan-feb".....

2)chelsea are gonna lose all their matches once drogba and essien go to africa

They keep forgeting to mention that WE WILL ALSO DROP POINTS AS LONG AS RAFA MASS-ROTATES.

Gosh.....

What a :censored: performance by these overated overpaid Tarts. Ok it wasnt a penalty but when we got back level we didnt even threaten the keeper

I mean Torres taken off ? He was the only striker actually threatnin there goal. Gerrard off leaving a CM of Mascherano and Sissoko and Carragher off? well carragher played absoulute Sh!te today but Feckin ell Rafa get a grip

Starting 11

Reina Dont blame him for any of the goals TBH a penalty a lucky free kick n :censored: defending

Arbeloa Wasnt anywhere as good as Finnan at RB didnt support the right flank at all

Carragher Was absolute :censored: today neva seen such a bad performance by him

Hobbs Rafas fault should never have played him when you have Hyypia on the bench

Riise :censored: OFF

Gerrard was the only player apart from torres who threatend there goal and they were both taken off

Mascherano MaschaWHO didnt see him alot today

Sissoko :censored: OFF

Voronin :censored: OFF

Crouch was played in a bad position although could have done much better didnt look bothered

Torres played well for me set up Gerrard and was always in and around there area

Kewell played ok i spose nothin to complain about as did Babel. And there was no need for Hyypia to come on

Riise,Sissoko and Voronin should NEVER put a liverpool shirt on again apart from if they buy it from JD sports and are supporting us. them 3 are utter :censored: the 3 of them can :censored: off.

Losing to reading and we expect to still be in the title race have a :censored: laugh

Crouch as a Left attacker ? Whats up with that ?

Is rafa smoking sh1t or something ?

Maybe Rafa shouldn't have banned the players from watching the Hatton fight.

He obviously sees the Marseille game as a bigger one than Reading so it looks like all out for the Champions League again, whether thats because of the extra funds it will bring who knows but that was a game we should have won no problem and that ridiculous formation never gave us a chance even at 1-1. Its still early days, Bolton beat Man U last week and the so called experts were not saying they have blown any chance of winning the League. The bright side( if you can call it that) is that Man U wont be the ones to end our unbeaten run :;):.

Going to bed now so I can get up for the Hatton fight  :lookaround

Adebayor had a bust up and last I heard wasnt playing for his national side.

The ref was not the reason we lost.  We were awful today.  The system and team selection was wrong.  We are 10 points behind and we cannot just assume arsenal will start losing.  We are level on points with pompey.  Joke!!!

Momo has been awful all season yet continues to play. Why?

When things are going wrong it seems to be hit it long and if they dont work hit it longer.  Riise cant run at all.  He could of stopped the 3rd goal but has no pace.  2nd goal was down to awful defending.

Togo didn't qualify
