this would be the ideal game to try an up front partnership of Babel and Torres, surely?

I would be happy with a boring 1-0 win. We just need 3 points from here.....Don't really care about the performance. So as long as we get 3 points and no injuries or suspension to key players i would be happy....

The next 2 games are vital to how our season is gonna shape out...so i can excuse a subpar performance against reading...  :)  (as long as we win..)

I think we need Agger back desperately. Sami has done well, but he cant play all the games without a rest anymore. I read the other day he has played 12 straight games for us and four for his country.

Thats what worries me about this week Leon, 3 huge games and even if Agger is judged fit could you risk him in either of the other 2 games without a warm up game? I think Chelsea in the league cup is when we will see Agger, and Alonso back mate.

I think Sami has done a great job but its asking a lot of him to keep playing without a break.

Thats my worry also.

I think Agger will have had warm up games, but not top flight intensity ones.

Voronin on the left, or else 4-3-3 then,

Certainly an interesting selection.

Would have liked to see Lucas play today, never mind.

Must admit I am surprised to see Sissoko starting at his expense.

Knew it.

I'm glad we'll get chance to look at Hobbs from the start, it's a big test for the lad.

Rafa intimated in his pre-match comments that Sissoko would start:

"We try to manage the players, but some players can handle the games better than others," he said.

"If we can talk about one - Momo Sissoko - he can play at a very high tempo and be fit in two or three days. Other players who are older or who play in another position may need four or five days. So you need to know all these things."
