Tonight I'm playing with a band in an exclusive little village in Liverpool called 'Huyton', anyone advise me to any of it's local traditions? anyone heard of it?
Its traditional to walk up to the biggest, meanest looking guy in the bar and take a dump on his Timberlands - They'll hold you in great aplomb (Yeayyyyyhhhhh I finally got to use aplomb in a sentence)
Well I made it back still in one piece! Actually the club wasn't too bad. Had a lot of history about it, was talking to the Club Secretary and he said that a fair few top footie players had started out playing for the club sunday league team. Stevie G and his dad can be seen in there sometimes, Joey Barton used to play there and in the concert room last night was an 83 year old fella by the name of Laurie Hughes - used to play for Liverpool in the 50's apparently. so all in all not a bad night
I always remember the word becaue Peter Brackley used it about 10 times amatch when he covered serie A games for Channel 4 a few years back, and then in Michael Owens World League Soccer on the PS1- Pi$$ Poor it was too
