As long as whoever gets picked at RM stays put in order to contain Quaresma. If it's Gerrard, he'll have a lot more defensive work to do than he did on Saturday.

Agreed. If Gerrard plays right mid he will have to be diciplined. Maybe the free role might not be as workable against Porto.

I liked the underdog role but with all this drama with the owners I hope it does not distract the team before this important match. We need to beat Porto then the French and I think all this transfer funds talk will go away.

good team but i don;t think rafa will use this , he will go with 2 def mids i think , mainly masch and lucas in case we are hit on the break with gerrard on the right and babel on the left .. maybe ? good team , would really hope that rafa deploys this team maybe say against bolton
