he looks good... he's an all-round player

seem to be comfortable tackling and cutting off passes as well as passing forward...

some sloppy interchanges with gerrard though...

Nice. With all the speculation now over Masch it would be nice if Lucas could have a few good performances.

Not trying to quibble, mate, but Torres was definitely on side (credit where it's due...that was a great through ball from Kuyt).  The "square ball" to Kuyt was actually Torres' shot on goal that hit Given on the shoulder (or arm?) and deflected to Kuyt.  Kuyt worked hard to get the ball back to Torres who had no choice but to shoot first time, as Given was closing him down.  And, the ball just had a bit too much bend on it and curled off the post...bad luck.

yup... that's right... thanks for the correction mate didn't see the replay so didn't know it was a shot by torres...
