You're right I'm just under a bit of stress at the moment.  That was over the top, I'm sorry everyone.

By all means put GH in charge of the Aussie youth developement programme, he would do an outstanding job but to have him as manager ???  :O

Jez, some people really go over the top with the Houllier abuse.

The Australian FA have denied they have ever contacted Houllier, but the rumours go back a few months now.

Anyway, Farina is doing a great job with the Socceroos.  The real problem is how FIFA discriminate against Oceania: for years Australia often had to play a South American team to qualify for the World Cup. I know that has changed, but Australia could be a power in football as the country is world class in other sports. Maybe the Houllier appraoch is an idea to replicate his success with French underage football?

Totally agree with you on the first sentence. The second sentence is the result of having him as coach/manager.

Really, what was his achievement prior to coming to LFC? A title win with RC Lens, and that was it - one time wonder. As I have said before, he is very good in an administrative capacity where he sets up training centres and youth academy, that is it.

Can't manage (especially man management and motivation), tactically inept and out of depth in judging players with more wrongs than rights. However, he is a very highly rated "technical" coach, whatever that means, especially in Europe. He'd make as good director of football.
