Cant believe this thread - personally it goes without saying for me. Torres - Berbatov is a one season wonder & doesnt score consistently enough for me.

Torres is well better now & will get even better

Not for me it isnt.

Berbatov, is overrated and Crouch underrated by too many.

The bulgarian may be better (slightly) but to say by a country mile is disrespectful to our player and a joke.
Crouch's scoring record must be pretty similar and he has done it for a couple of seasons as well.

berbertov.....he is by far the better player, he has strength and can use his head unlike torres. he can run a hell lot faster then torres aswel. torres is so overated!

no offence but id choose eric meijer over berbatov. we should look at that cousin whos playing for rangers, that guys got a lot more to offer

Torres = more ability + better attitude.

Torres is a better player than Berba in a lot of ways.

he's already better then berbatov , being the captain of AM at 18 i think it was , that tells u something , this lad is gifted .. Torres has better upper body strength then berbatov , although berbatov is stronger in the air , he lacks the pace and ball control that torres has. when berbatov runs with the ball sometimes , he looks like a clown , or at least that is how i feel .. Torres can only get better and he is so young , i would not pick berbatov over torres any day , firstly for the above mentioned reasons and also due to his attitude , i have always had great admiration for berbatov but after that incident , my respect for him has dropped tremendously. Spurs gave him the chance to prove his worth and now he wants to repay them by doing this . In conclusion , if u haven't already noticed , my choice any day would be fernando torres

u can't just base that yet , he has only been here for one season so far and now due to the form that spurs have been under jol , u can clearly see that the goals have struggled to come for him . Torres has started and adapted brightly but we don't know if the form will continue , torres came with a great scoring record like sheva but he has done btr in the english league then sheva ever has . If torres continues to work hard , then i can see him becoming the next raul one day ...

in my eyes, even before he came to us he was a legend....lets hope he shows the world(in the euro's) what a great siging the super reds have got.

Berbatov may be more skillful, Torres has better attitude. Thereore, overall I'd take Torres.
