Gerrards having a bit of a cr@ppie game tonight. Been caught in posession a couple of times and some of his passes bin a bit wayward.

Suppose even the best are bound to have a sh1t night when they've gotta play next to fat lumplard.

Aside from the penalty Lampards done nothing, at least Gerrard has tried to make something happen.

I can't believe he took Barry off and not the fat one. Barry and Gerrard are a much more complimentary partnership than Gerrard and the Lardster.

Even if England did get to the finals the FA need to sack McLaren if they want to actually challenge for the trophy. The only silverware McLaren will ever get his hands on are the knife and fork he eats his meals with.

Any coach that has the sense to say hey how many matches have we said it can work and it hasnt? and make the change (the right one of course!) then my faith is restored at the minute I really couldnt care less if we qualify if we dont then its all but guaranteed mclarens gone if we get a late one then we will have to watch us make fools of ourselves for a few more games before he is gone !

England have been poor for a long time now. At least the FA have plenty of time to pick out a decent coach, one who will pick the players on merit and not on star status.
