Can't believe we just drew that game? We were so on top IMO, kuyt has completely lost any sense of where the net is cept for the side netting:D . Glad to see Harry playing well for us and made a massive difference on the left - welcome back son! really all down to Freidel stopping us getting all 3 points. I was happy with our general performance even if Sami and sissoko gave crucial balls away but not too many this game for Sissoko at least. It picked up for us in the second half and just wish we could've converted on of our chances.
Apart from the lack of first half chances and movement in the last third as I said IMO quite happy with the performance if not the result.

because when we aint winning it suddenly occurs to the manager that we need to score a goal and time is running out. We then press on trying to score but it aint pretty. Today it was hit long to crouch and try to get the knockdown as we were desperate.

Yes we had a few chances at the end and I bet Rafa will say "we controlled the game and had great chances to win"

At least harry looked okay when he came on. But ot was a must win game after what happened this morning.

Time to admit it we are no contenders ,again ,for the runner up ,the illusion we had in the beginning of the season blow up in our faces ,Benitz is hurting our cause with bizarre lineups and rotations ,some of the new comers are shell shocked (babel) and injuries left us with not good enough replacements (hyppia).

Just sad how things turned out but we are just not good enough.

At least when we were hitting long to Crouch, we were getting some joy. When we were hitting long to Kuyt, he was either offside or just knocked it back where it came from. Useless.

I disagree there ok we didn't dominate the whole game but thought we had by far the better of the chances and their keeper worked far harder than ours did for 90 minutes.
So are you saying we were :censored:

for 75mins and only good for 15mins?

Good side Blackburn, could have nicked it towards the end there but we would definitely have rmugged the whippet lovers.
