Liverpool need to stop and go back to basics. 4-4-2 plain and simple. and play simple football. Pass and move rather than 60 yard balls up to Kuyt and Voronin and then see what happens, usually nothing. Pass and move is the only way we'll succeed.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Well then Benitez has to go, because otherwise we'll be fighting it out for third and fourth for another 10 years before the board realise "sh!t we've made another mistake." Liverpool of the 70s and 80s played pass and move. United of the 90s the same. Chelsea when they won the league played great attacking fluenet football and now United and Arsenal both playing proper football and they're the top 2 in the league. Coincidence? Football wins football matches. Aiminglessly throwing a ball up to the opposing back four will not win you major trophies. Back to basics for Liverpool Football Club or wave goodbye to another year without the Premiership.

You know what? i agree. Sick of watching long ball tactics thrown into the play without having any impact whatsoever. Pass and Move please...

Like it was said earlier we wont play pass and move under Benitez. So if we want to see football being played properly by a Liverpool side, then either Benitez goes or we wait 50 odd years until the board finally appoint a footballing manager.

pass and move. i dream of the day rafa will play his team like this. i think we could play like this consdiering we r a very good counter attacking team. instead of waiting for them to make a mistake we should be going after them

Hey guys, my first post :D !!
IMO we need to win this to keep in touch with united/arsenal!!!

Would stick with the 4-4-2 formation:

                   Reina
Finnan   Carragher   Hyypia  Riise
               Mascherano
Benayoun                       Kewell
                 Gerrard
             Crouch    Kuyt

I agree, we needed the pace-y players... and in this line up we dont really have it.
Torres + pennant are a big loss for this game. and i dont see babel being able to play 2 halves perfect halves without mistakes. Crouch needs a start tho...

We cant lose this game. We already behind them as it is. At least Savage is out so maybe we will come away from this game without any injuries.

Put Babel as a sub. He's no good playing 90 mins.
