Spot on
There was no prima donnas then i no it most proberbly coulndt happen now but when even a top player signed for us he would have a short spell in the reserves to actually learn the Liverpool way drum in what it means to play for the shirt not yourmillions of pounds a year footballers who go running to the papers if theve been dropped
Bring back the good old days

Shankly converted Ray Kennedy from a striker, signed from Arsenal into one of the best midfielders this club has seen, maybe rafa can do the same with Kuyt ?

Sorry, mate, but his touch is nowhere near good enough and his crossing is average at best (presuming you thought of him playing RM, given our over-abundance of CMs).

But thats judging him as a striker, his contribution in midfield could be very different, he doesnt have the pressure of hitting the target in midfield, he just has to be himself.
mate he has a first touch like a 16 year old virgin, too hard and too far, he has the control of an 80 year old incontinence sufferer and the finishing of a blind painter.
he is one player i would gladly see in rotation, as long as it was a revolving door. quite frankly how he get picked ahead of crouch, my nana, and the bloke down the road who stood on a landmine once is beyond me. he has no pace, no vision and no skill, all he has is the ability to run around and look ugly, in fact he will be the only man in liverpool tomorrow without the need for fancy dress

I have said if we don't make progress this season it may be time to re-assess , certainly I would hope questions would be asked. That was my answer btw.
Seriously what would it take Sabre and Leon?

At the start of the season loads of people including me thought that for the first time in a very long time we had a realistic chance of winning the premiership. We got off to a flyer and the optomism seemed well founded . Since then however the wheels have come off and with the latest injuries to hit the squad we'll be lucky to remain in contention, we may well find ourselves struggling just to secure a top four finish.
A key season for Rafa, one that could very well define both his and LFC's future. Given the investment made in Rafa by the new owners I doubt that failure to win the league this season would prompt them to seek an alternative manager. If we pick up any kind of trophy and finish in the top four I'm convinced Rafa will still be leading us at the start of the next season, and I wouldn't have a problem with that (although he sometimes drives me nuts with his team selection). But as has been said by many, judge the man (if you must) at the end of the season, as will the owners , not one third of the way into it .
