I meant that a clown like beckham is famous because he is good looking, has a famous wife, and seeks celebrity but people who know football (i.e not 99% of birds) know that Beardo was 10 times the player but rarely gets a mention when people talk of the great English players.

i dont think anyone shagged anyone to be honest.

Beardsley and dalglish lived next to each other, the Beardsley's were away and didnt cancel their milk, kennys missus took the milk in and Beardsleys missus accused her of stealing it and there was a fall out.

if he was shagging kennys missus i am sure that kenny would have got rid of him rather than souness.

taff did you watch the houghton one, and the jimmy greaves one, they had me in stitches :laugh:

Funnily enough I remember it as :- Dalglish rested Beardsley and Beardsley's wife had a go at Dalglish's wife about it. No shagging

I was joking. It was a funny rumour (the other way round with Kenny shagging Beardsleys missus actually) at the time in the city.

I post that kind of daft question when people make stupendous claims about knowing the inner workings of the club and use said lies and falsehoods as a stick to beat the manager with.
