That's the only stat you can possibly use.

That’s not much of a point considering Wenger has been at Arsenal for over a decade and Rafa has been at Liverpool for less than half of a decade.

Errrm, that's kind of the point of dividing total spending by number of seasons managing--it gives a picture of net spending/year which makes it easier to compare the spending power of two managers who have been at their respective teams for different lengths of time.

Wenger has more net spends because he has been at Arsenal significantly longer than Benitez has been at Liverpool. It’s also hard to come to such a conclusion when most of Arsenal’s deals are reported as undisclosed fees.

Also, what has net spending got to do with anything when comparing Wenger to Benitez? Why is the comparison needed? Benitez has a long way to go before he achieves what Wenger has achieved in England.

What maths? I didn’t use any maths to my knowledge, after your post and the Halle Berry one, I’m confused, and I’m going to have a power nap now.

Yesteryear in Anfield, we won 4-1 against them. Crouch, scored a hat trick and was a hero. He played as a lone striker, with Steven Gerrard doing the second striker role (which in my view was an attacking midfielder). Agger scored aswell.

I wonder, given the apparent (have not seen them this season) attacking football they practise, will try Rafa the same approach that he tried back then? So far this season Rafa has only used 442 if I recall correctly. Personally for some games I do like that formation we used against Arsenal. I wonder if the reason for we haven't switched to that formation are the injuries we are having, as Gato Busta suggested, or because Rafa didn't like the experiments last season.

Will Crouch appear?

I can't wait for the game.
