Yeah....and your posts are boring me too....

Why don't you just stick to real socided...??? I am sure there are lots of fan forum for your spanish team.

Leave this forum to the LFC fans.....

I post there too. It's a forum of people that watches live football -- unlike you, support the team even in hard relegation times -- unlike you, a humble yet proud bunch of fans, who do not envy Arsenal, Manchester or Real Madrid, unlike you.

I post here because I love this club, I'm not like the guests of Atletico who has a passing interest because Torres plays here.

I watch all Liverpool games, I'm sad when they lose, and I'm happy when they win. Plus, I can practice my english while I talk about the club I love, and learn about them. That's why.

Your country is an advanced one, in mine, numpties are not allowed to write on a computer  :D

You know sabre....you don't know sh1t about me.....

I have been supporting LFC longer than you..... I have supported LFC through the dark ages of souness ...... (Did u even know LFC exist during souness era) ???

You say i don't watch live football ? have u ever watched LFC play live ? Have u ever seen your real socided play live ever since chris coleman took over ? what a hypocrite.....

You say i am not a "humble yet proud fan"...1st of all...you are either humble or proud....It like saying someone is rich but poor...doesn't make sense...who is a numpty one ? moron..... go back to school, learn english and then come back.....

The reason why i don't really like you is because you criticise members here (who support LFC passionately) when they question rafa. The thing is you support real socided... How can a real socided supporter tell a liverpool supporter what to do ?

Its like a iraqi telling an american citizen who to vote as their next president....

Like i said...stick to the spanish league...If u still persist to come here....SHOW THE LIVERPOOL FANS more respect. Just because we criticise the manager doesn't mean we are less of a fan...

Another classy post and I especially like the mocking of the Spaniard's English in the midst of a post riddled with spelling and grammar errors.

Now, you've had your rant at the big bad foreigner and done the internet gangster thing, making yourself look like a t!t in the process.  So, are you going to drop it now and let this thread get back to the footy discussion?    ???

As a humble witness of what has just happened in this thread, let me first of all express my sincere admiration for Sabre, who managed to keep his self control even though he had to read things that could hurt his feelings and provoke his anger. As for the message posted by The Rock (by the way, such a pseudonym is a joke in itself), let's say that if ridicule could kill, the guy wouldn't have very long to live. :D

Even my friends who are not Liverpool fans around here, knew and respected Liverpool decades before the Souness era.

It is / was / and will be a world wide known and respected team.

Outrageous he had that doubt.  :no

I think you need work on your english Rock, humble also means small in size or low in rank (compared to other clubs in Spain) so what he said makes perfect sense. Supporters can be all over the world. I have never been to a live match since I can't really afford it (living in a different continent, it would be very expensive) but we are all entitled to an opinion.

Now I think the people who are saying "sack the manager, he's no good" sound more like band wagon fans than real supporters. I trust Benitez, but frankly I think the team is stuck on a rut, he's not trying new formations as he used to, he makes player-for-player changes instead of actually "rotating" the team and most of the current players just seem uninterested and uninspired. As I've said before, I hope Agger, Alonso and Torres are back in the team soon, as well as a fit Kewell (fingers crossed on him this time) to bring balance creativity to the team.

PS: poor but rich may also mean has no money but is rich in qualities  :rasp

jedwards wrote:Yes, I agree that we have the players to win every game, but the managment I do not agree with, I really doubt that Benitez himself does not know who are his best 11 since he had been in charge, this man, just chop and changes every game, he does not have a format for an attractive attacking football, he is not a manage in the right sense, he is a very good coach, but not a manager, LFC position is to big for his head, like Houllier a negative manager, strip his players from all their flair and ability. I am affraid he won't get no where this season, that if is allowed to stay, I expect LFC by December, will be 16 points behind Aresnal, and out the European league while Benitez still in charge !!!!!.

I know the team isn’t performing and Rafa has seemed to be losing the plot, but the air of negativity on here is beyond what I thought it might (I’m naïve).

Benitez knows what his best eleven is, Benitez prefers to have a best twenty two for the entire season where Liverpool will be competing in four competitions and could well play over seventy matches in a given season.Whether this is correct or not remains to be seen, I am of the opinion that a settled side should play unless there are injuries, suspensions and fatigue present.

One point which is undeniable is a structure of eleven players playing in a majority of the matches will not work.

You should know by now that Rafa is a results manager and not a performance manager. He’d be more than happy to edge thirty eight 1-0 encounters throughout the season than play attracting football, concede goals and then ultimately drop points.

Rafa’s man manage skills could be improved and he could indeed implement some man management into his methods to help lift players spirits, but there is a case to made which states that just by pulling on the red shirt, the players should be motivated enough. A point well made IMO.

I accept and support the notion that Rafa does strip his players of flair and individuality, IMO a balance needs to be found between team work and individual work and a balance needs to be struck between flair and discipline.Players need to know when to do which thing, that’s important, but as long as the club is winning and bringing silverware into the trophy cabinet then such an issue is trivial.

Your last sentence is ridiculous, the team might be going through a bad patch, but it’s a little premature to give up, six points behind Arsenal and the team faces them next weekend, it will be a tough game but I’m confident the lads can win the match.

I wish I had your confidence going into the Arsenal game, Wilhelmsson. I personally can't see us getting anything out of this game myself. Arsenal are on fire at the moment - and even if they weren't, we'd still make it easy for them. Why? Because Rafa won't pick at team that plays to Liverpool's strengths - he will pick a team he RECKONS will beat the other team. That's no way to run a club that hopes to win the league - leave that to Villa or Birmingham.

Sure Rafa knows what his best 11 is, but what he wants is 22+ interchangeable players  and the end result is a lack of fluidity, confidence, individuality and desire in the team. Having played the game myself, albeit at a low level, we played the same 11 every week (no choice , but anyway...) and what I got used to is what the players in front of me was able to do. IE, I knew, out of habit, that our winger would always come inside. Now, if I know this I can prepare if he loses the ball and adjust my position accordingly. It becomes instinct, second-nature - you do it without thinking about it.

That can't happen with Rafa's team because the team is not playing with each other for more than two games running. Some posters here say 'He only changed once in the last two weeks' or some W*nk like that, but it has a cumulative effect - you can't expect everything to click into place because he's played more or less the same team in a row. This has to be done over months and seasons (bar injury and form).

We're not doing the basics of football right - control, passing and movement. These players are professional footballers. It's almost in their genetic make-up at this stage to control, pass and move with relative ease because they've been doing it all their lives - and some cases that's all they've done. They live and breathe football. I fear that they're not asked to be footballers - they're asked to be a cog in a machine - that's no way to play football.

I just want to see Liverpool playing some decent football for a change. Is that too much to ask?
AND HERE COMES AVI COHEN!! OH I SAY - AT THE SAME END HE'S GOT ONE BACK!!!!!!!!!!

With regards to the last nights game.....I don't think this has any bearing of the future of Rafa at Liverpool whatsoever.

We were beaten 2 - 1 away from home by conceding a freak own goal and got caught on the break with the 2nd goal whilst pushing players forward to try and snatch an equiliser.

Enough chances were created and on another day we might have come away with a 2 - 5 victory so being over-analytical and laying blame at the managers door would be extremely harsh!

I seriously think some people believe the manager has control over players taking their chances or decision making during matches!

I don't think being critical of Rafa's man management skills are fair unless you work directly with him which qualifies you to have an informed opinion.

One thing I am pleased about it that Benitez will not change his methods and strategies because other people may not agree with them.  I would never want to see the running of Liverpool FC being dictated by the media and sports journalists who are simply journalists and prove time and time again that they have absolutely no idea about football.

Who would seriously want the media to influence Benitez in team selection the way they do to Steve McLaren and the England team???

Stubborness is an excellent trait for a manager to have as it is vital to have belief in what you think is right.  Any manager toothless enough to cave in under pressure from external sources to change his methods shouldn't be in football.

Live by the sword and die by it!
