Morning all. After another disappointing evening of European football, I thought I'd make a few comments on last nights game yet the thread is locked!! WTF!!

Run it's course?? Less than 4 hours after a crucial defeat in the Champions League?? How has that run it's course?? I'm sure loads of people didn't log on last night due to being out, in the pub, being pissed off, sulking in bed etc. Where are we to go now to comment on the match?? Mods are the first ones to jump down peoples throats for starting pointless or duplicate threads, so why the fuck lock a very current and applicable thread??

seriously have you guys not been paying attention? the match thread is for the game and maybe a couple hours after. discussing the match after its done in the post game match thread.

This has been done for at least 5 or 6 games now. wakey wakey.

It's natural that some posters are not familiar with some decissions that are made. The threads appear and sink quickly and that kind of decissions to make a forum better are discussed in off topic, so it's just natural that it takes some time to get used to it.

The comment of 'run its course' was a fair one. Page 25 had started to tail off discussion wise and it was a few hours after the game (like we had agreed on - in principle) So no blatant 'out of the blue' kneejerk (ha) reactions were taken in shutting the thing...

Considering that there are three or four 'offshoots' already dealing with the aftermath each filled with good and positive things; not least the opportunity - as Leon says...to start your own Post game thread should you have any input to make worth reading. I'd say there isn't any gripes here. Just you not being around in time to make the cut off point. Thats always going to happen to some posters cos of the time difference/bad heads.. etc.

Anyway, i close one thread in 3 week and im lambasted!

Get over it. Infact, get a 'f.ucking' grip - as is the current phrase in fashion. :rasp
