its not going to be able to go on for much longer, there is a lot of money at stake at this club now and its being run as a business.

If your business is not doing well you change the Manager.

Gerrard just said they are happy with the way they played tonight!   :oh:  :oh:

There's the root of the problem, right there! How can a squad of that kind of quality be happy with THAT level of performance?

The mind fookin boggles.  :no

Why?

Injuries to two of our main passes of the ball.

There isinta defender in our team at the moment who can pass a ball to a red shirt.  Or even anyone who can run out with it.   I cant wait for Xabi and Agger to be back.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm  Arsenal next.  Something to look forward to the way there playing.

No matter if you believe in rotation or not, no matter if we like one player or another, we've been playing under Rafa for some time now, and definitely we are worse than the last two years in which we also had some injuries weeks. Things must be sorted out, both by Rafa, and the players.

I couldn't watch this game, just trusting the mates' eyes, I'll watch it now when I download it.

At least Gerrard has scored, which no doubt will be handy in order to recover confidence, well done.

I wouldnt watch it if i was you mate.

In Europe we are worse yes then what we have been int he last two years.

BUT in the league we are doing better than in the last two years.

Dirk Kuyt is  waste of space.  I swear in the summer I saw people on here saying how in his 2nd season he will improve and show us hwo good he is.  His rubbish.  A workhorse who cant play.  Waste of money but a Rafa type of player as Rafa seems to think running all day long is more important than the ability to control and minpulate a football.

Rafa the tactical genius never seems to know when to use subs or change things when its going wrong.  No excuses as these are his players and this is the rubbish we have to watch.  How many weeks do we have to watch such rubbish.  Vorinin rubbish.   In the final 3rd we offer nothing better than mid to bottom of the table prem sides.

Murphy mate: In terms of points I agree, but I'm worried we have lost our main strenght in the last months: the ability to make clean sheets often. Anyhow, I don't only trust Rafa, I also trust Gerrard, Alonso, Mascherano, Carra... we have great footballers that can sort this out.

Gerrard did not play well tonight.  Too many Hollywood balls that did not come off..  Why didn't Rafa take him off tonight??
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Poor performance, the wingers gave us no outlet at all, coming inside far too often.

Sami is (sadly) past his sell byt date (fu.ck me he is past his give a way for free by date) and I have to say Finnan was poor going forward this evening.
