Nothing is changing then.  Its been like this for weeks.  The performances have been poor simple as that. As an attacking force we lack flair, creativity, guile and the ability to break at pace.  I dont know what the drills and methods are used in the attacking sense but whatever it is it aint good enough.

Why is it the case that teams seem to have such a easy time defending against us.  Challenge us to break them down and its a struggle.

on the odd occasion we have got into a crossing opposition there has only been one red shirt on the box    :no

We suk at counter attacking, we just waltz up the park when we feel like going forward which is usually when the oppo has got all the players back in position, which then leads to passing from the midfield back to the defence back to reina...wash, rinse reuse etc.

From an attacking sense that was just poor. Kuyt and Voronin really do look toothless as a strike partnership, Kuyt especially is irritating me at the moment. He has to be living proof that being a top 30+ goalscorer doesn't translate onto the English or European stage well. He's got hustle and bustle but sweet FA else.
Crouch would be ideal for this game as they haven't dealt that well with high balls into danger areas and for him to again be overlooked really does suggest that something has/is going on behind the scenes.

because beskitas are not a very good side yet we seem to struggle to open them up.

Are the strikers told to go wide or do they just do it off there own back.  All the time this strikers are out wide crossing into the box. Its so frustrating.

I'm still wondering what the deal with Babel is as he aint no LW and can all the pennant lovers please explain to me what is so good about pennant.

easy guys don't panic, remember that we have a tactical genius for a manager, that's why we have so many ideas for scoring or should that be "options"
Maybe you guys are coming around to my way of thinking, this is more than just a dip in form, something is very very wrong with our club and the one I'm looking at is Rafa!! :veryangry

Hope we can turn this round 2nd half though, but Rafa is not one for inspirational half time team talks, yes yes Istanbul, but that was down to Stevie :bowdown  not Rafa.

They are feckin sh.ite and we have one man in the box Voronin  ???
Maybe Pako leaving has effected the team more than we realised.
We look lathargic Finnans been woeful.
And another own goal from Sammi, bring Alonso on Rafa get some feckin passes together and Benayoun on also.

We can still win it but with our forwards I just can't see were the goals are going to come from. I think I am finally running out of patience with Kuyt.

Cant blame Kuyt Saint he is told where to play from the manager and that is not in the box.

And me he is up front and it is his job to score goals and he cant seem to do that. Havent said that its not as if he is getting much service.

Are we really missing Alonso that much??

I just feel that we have over relied on SG over the years and everyone else has forgotten how to play.
