Rosenborg is up against the israeli Maccabi Haifa, and WHEN both LFC and RBK pull through - same group 1st stage ? :D

You don't HAVE to win both games you just have to win the tie.
As for Rosenborg , not the side they were , don't see them as a threat.  :(

Hello Red's,

don't think that this match will be so easily....Ajax Amsterdam thought that last year also....and SURPRISE they just won with much luck in the overtime in THEIR OWN stadium...

i also think that liverpool is the favourite, but just on paper....but GAK will win the first game 2-0

your team hasn't played any league match this season...so your team isn't compact and doesn't know each other...

come the Graz and feel our strength...

greetz from Austria...see you soon...

liverpool will need luck @ Arnold Schwarzenegger Stadium

did you know that GAK holds 2 European-topscorers in their strike?

Roland Kollman: 27 goals (Austrian league 03/04)
Alen Skoro: Bosnian league 03/04

put your helmets on red's ;-)

Ubrigens, ich habe Kollman und Skoro nicht gehoert, ich weiss nicht, wer sie sind.

No disrespect GAK, but while you may have the top goalscorers from Austria and Bosnia in your side, we have the little matter of the top scorer of Euro 2004 in ours!

Should be a tough match away from home, but so-called "smaller" teams find it very hard to cope at Anfield, even under Gerard Houllier.

I think GAK that you will find that Liverpool FC will treat you with every respect for both matches and will prepare thoroughly for the games, and in no way will we treat you lightly.

However, qualifying for the CL group stages is incredibly important for LFC, in terms of finance, keeping our top players happy and attracting new players, so we won't be taking these matches lightly.

By the way, did you play Man UTD in the CL group stages sometime in the last couple of seasons? I think I remember Beckham being kicked all around the Arnie Schwarzenegger stadium.

yeah John Barnes' Granny beckham kicked at our stadium some years ago....but not against GAK....we have another top team in our city...Sturm Graz....

Sturm Graz and GAK play both in the same stadium!

I do think that Liverpool doesn't take this game as serious as they should... so they will probably loose that game...1.0 or 2-0

yeah the 2nd game at anfield road will be very tough for our team...and i think that liverpool will rush our goal...but maybe with luck and strength....we'll make it

GAK - Back on top

GAK is back again on the top of the austrian t-mobile league!

The Red's won against their city-opponent Sturm Graz 1-0 in a tough game! 13.231 people have been to Arnold Schwarznegger Stadium!

It was a great general sample for GAK before the CL-Qualification game against englands record-champion liverpool on tuesday.

Liverpool's Observer was impressed as he said: GAK has a tough team with very strong strikers! It will be a hard game!
