Is it pronounced "Say-ber" like the sword or "Say-bre" like "breath" but without the "th"?  ???

:D

I've always thought of it as Saw-Brugh, which seems more "Euro" than Say-ber (Yank style). :nod

I've always assumed it's pronounced "Say-berr" like the Pirates' sword of choice.

Dundalk's approach would be the most likely to the spanish pronunciation, although my nickname is english, it's supposed to be the kind of sword that the military officials have, in Spanish Sable, Sabre in english.

About the pronunciation, my Irish friends, and a guy from leeds pronounce it differently, so at the end, say it as you wish!

What would be the scouse pronunciation of Sabre? that should be the official one :D
