Just had a look at the BBC site then went to Rawk who are normally on the ball about this type of thing and they have a topic on that rat McKenzie who was the Sun editor in 1989.

Get your questions to the MP's and show the power of the net and hopefully get this scumbag to have to answer questions about his headlines

Get emailing folks. Lets hope Dimbleby brings him to book on this again. The c**nt. Cheltenham though....hardly going to be a hotbed for retribution on behalf of Liverpool FC...mind you, it is down south.

With the emails etc as per RAWK I also complained via this part of the BBC site, basically complaining about a man of that nature being allowed on the BBC. You can all word it your own way it would be more effective. I also gave my email address so they can reply, if it means that some poor sap in the Beeb has to reply to complaints as per thir charter the so be it, it might make them think or even get some publicity.

if the people of Liverpool will not even buy the sun newspaper to this day, why on earth do you think they would want their licence fee being spent on that idiot mckenzie. the man should not be given any airtime until he is prepared to apologise for the scandalous headlines he published when editor of the sun and make amends with a hefty donation to the HJC, in fact the BBC could go a long way here by donating is fee to the HJC, and if mackenzie doesn't like this then don't have him on.

fecking typical, it"s bad enough that evil b@stard being on telly let alone still
breathing air, but i have to go to hospital tomorrow to have my blood pressure
checked as the tablets i"m on at the moment to help with my skin complaint
(psoriasis) which was caused by being pulled out of hillsborough, has caused
my blood pressure to be a concern as it is considerbly high at the moment
this will do my cause no favours what so ever, i will watch question time
tonight only in the hope that the c**t is made to squirm, i don"t expect
an apology etc but just hope that the other mp"s on the show make an
issue of it,to make all viewers realise that what mackenzie has said
in the past will never be forgiven or forgotten as with everything
connected with hillsborough -it will never go away.
so please everyone send your e-mail"s now & let the bbc know
that the loss of 96 innocent lives cannot & will not ever be forgotten.

Hate to dash your hopes but he is not going to get it at all from the MP's, he has been on before and is arrogant and pompous, because he is not important ie an MP, he is in a position to attack them, without any retribution.

I can only hope that they bring up the issue, but i doubt it.

Remember the last time he was due on Question Time then chickened out because of the complaints, then appeared on a later show where Claire Short pulled him up? My guess is the only time this topic will be raised is when the panel are asked not to mention it so I guess we'll be relying on the audience to bring the subject up.
