I still think we can win the league, even though we have made things much more difficult for our selves by dropping silly points. More worrying is how brittle our teams confidence was, champions have to take the knocks and come back strong, not curl in a ball and cry.

I expect us to come back after the break all guns blazing, if we are going to fail I would rather we went down fighting and trying to play good football.

champions still manage to get a result even though they are playing :censored: poor and unbeaten like us, you never know this could be our bad patch of the season!!!

Hopefully it is.

Fair enough to assume the goners, chelski and mancs will have a bad patch also, but we cannot assume this will be our only bad patch. Points dropped aren't the end of the world, however we dropped six against pompey, a spudz team in relegation trouble and a yo yo brum side on it's umpteenth return to the top flight AT HOME. Those are games we'd have hoped to pick up seven or more points from not three. The mancs have already lost and are above us, I believe we've lost the advantage we had and with a run of games we could drop more points in it is going to make winning the title more difficult. I don't expect us to be top of the league from week one to the end of the season, however we need to go on a strong run at some stage like the mancs usually do - seven or more straight wins is title form and that's what separates Champions from also-rans
