KLUIVERT BARCA TO NEWCASTLE FREE
BUTT MAN U TO NEWCASTLE 2.5M
VAN PERSIE AJAX TO ARSENAL 2.5M
ROTHEN MONACO TO PSG 6.5M

After seeing butt go to newcastle today and the lack of activity liverpool have had in the transfer market, is there any players here or other players that have signed for clubs who you would have liked us to have bought with the funds we have availble.....Personally id have rothen and for 2.5m even though he played for the scum i think newcastle have got themselves a bargain in butt

Nope.

Not one of them players would get near our first team... not including van Persie because i've never seen him play so can't judge but i wouldn't have signed him anyways.

You must have saw nothin of Rothen in the champions league and french league last season cos the lad was superb and i was shocked when id heard he had gone for 6and a half mill cos his one of the best left wingers around at the moment

Kezman looks the complete package a really efficient striker he will do well for Chelsea .

van persie is the only 1 of those we missed out on. i saw him for the dutch u-21 side and he ran the show. at 2.5mil hes a bargain

kezman the only 1 really and maybe persie because he can play right side but kezman is world class and will show wot a bargain he really is, ive put £50 on him being top scorer

F**kin shut up about bloody Kezman would you, for christ's sake.

Try backin your own blasted team for once, i don't see the funny side of every other person saying he will be great for the blue sh*te, Seems like there are so many under cover chelski lovers on here, I we have the leading scorer this season in any 1 of our main 3 strikers.

Kezman was good in holland so fllipin what, Love him that much buy a ticket to watch him at Stamfor Fu**in Bridge.

Van persie good player watch alot of him on channel 5 dutch football, and he doesnt play for the blue boys.

Kezman - good buy and very cheap for a player of his talent, but considereing we laready had Cisse, Baros, Owen and Sinama whwn he was put up for sale, it's no wonder we didn't go for him , and with our strikeforce it's no big loss.

Smith- same as Kezman, but not as good as Kezman, Baros, Owen or Cisse IMO.

Kluivert- agian we had enough strikers and he comes with a lot of baggage, a risky signing.

Butt - solid midfielder but not what we need, don't think him and Gerrard would complement eeach other, he lacks creativity and doesn't score many goals at all, more of a holding midfielder.

Van Persie - would take Rothen over him as they are both left footed, left sides players.

Rothen - may have done well for us, but LM is not a problem area for us with Kewell there, Rm and another CM is where we need added strength.
