i no what you are saying but sum of the players being 20 % better would still struggle to get into the likes of the scum manc chelski arsenal, lets jus check for a second ljungberg,c.ronaldo, take your pick from chelski but they jsu the right sided pklayers, then u got pires robben giggs fair enuff kewelss in that lge when hes fit but centre mid we deffently need sum1 and right sided midfield it jus saddens me that a CHUMP like the scum RICK PARRY dosent accept bids from the likes of steve morgan

When u put it like like that u do see the quality were missin and thats y i wanna see ballack and rosicky to join us and with the backin of the morgan or thai bid they were realistic transfer targets, but now i think funds are short and Rafa may have to get the best out of what hes got till maybe January or next season. That then leads to the question of what happens to Gerrard cos i understand he wants 3 top quality players and it dont look like there comin in........Over to you Rafa!!!!!

although i belive we need 1 or 2 big players i think the main thing is that rb gets us playing as a unit, just think of all the s**t players the scum had when they were dominating

With us not seemingly signing anyone else, does anyone think that richie partridge will actually get a kick this year!! Surely he would contribute more than smicer/diouf have on the right for the past 2 yrs???

that wot i sed stanstaunton maybe rafa has seem something he likes in the youngesters like john welsh and ritchie patridge they the only youngsters that come to my mind in the midfield fiasco, anyone else no of any young bright starlets that GH never seem to remember or give a chance?

i think if he see's a player he wants and he becomes available Rafa will get the money where just being more wise learning from are mistakes with GH

Benitez seems like a smart guy. He is not going to throw ayay money in the market like Houllier did. My worst Houllier moment was when he executed Westerveld after one bad game, and spent £ 12 million on two new goalkeepers the following week. Absolutely shocking.

What vignal like? I've never seen him play. He's been on loan at Rennes and then last year at Espanyol and now on his way to Rangers.

erm 2 be fair to GH he made 2 very good signings in them goalkeepers tho thats 1 area i think we are very good in kirkland when fit as the potetnial the be another world class performer a bit like seamen in his hay day obviusly not towards the ends of his luxurious career and dudke on his day is class 2

put it this way. who has made more mistakes for liverpool, dudek or westerveld? exactly. unfortunately dudek always seems to do it against the scum.

in terms of us buying two keepers at once, we only intended to buy one of kirkland and dudek but were forced to buy both as feyenoord threated legal action when we tried to pull out.

The sensible thing for a club to do is to play down speculation about new signings because the press and agents etc only mess them up/ get other clubs interested etc. It seems clear to me already that Benitez does not want unecessary media attention (a nice change from Houllier and the likes of Mourinio, Fergie etc)- so i am sure at least 2 new players will come (as well as the 2 already). Anyone can see that we lack in terms of midfield and defence and i dont think Liverpool could have got Benitez if they said he would only get £2M to rebuild over his first summer

i totally agree but i think the money they have gave RB is simple not enuff and he maybe forced tos ave it for next season or maybe january tranfer window in which we have more because of champs lge etc who noes but all i can say RB looks a ver good manager alredy from his veiws ideas and the way he handling the pressure of us the fans good luck to the guy i say n maybe u'll sign a few players 2 :P
