Anybody got the stats for Beckham free kicks at goal for England ? I think he's scored more than one in ten ? I'm pretty confident that at least seven out of ten were on target . :)

I'd vary the takers myself depending on where they are being taken from. Stevie G started to do practically everything towards the end of last season probbaly through a mixture iof being the only player with any confidence and his misguided approach to becoming the captain. I say misguided reservadly cos I think he just thought he ought to everything seeing as most other players were doing nothing !!!!! :D :D

Yes i have got something against riise, this guy cannot play football. Watching him play in that red shirt makes me sick- the mans a total disgrace. I went to all the home games last year and a lot of the away ones and i can safely say that i did not see him put in one half decent performance- even traore was capable of doing that. He's only ever scored one free kick for us against man utd and he just whacked it hoping for the best. I'm sorry but free kicks against second rate scottish sides in a pre season friendly dont count for me.

Definitely. it s a bargain compare to the 38 M Euros for Drogba (although Chelski deal the fee in another dimension). As I said in a previous thread he just need to improve his team work then he ll prove himself to be one of the best striker. Despite his fancy look he s a very dedicated player, hardworker and respectfull for the shirt (as he did for years in Auxerre and it s not so easy to be very commited to that middle level club when you re an international player). I heard also he s a good mate.
He ll add to Liverpool the strenght that is needed at the front stage. Well spent money
