Like i said....i only rated torres and gerrard as strikers in our current team........

Rafa seems to only buy workhorse strikers......Do you think fowler, rush and owen would have played under rafa ???

The worst thing about Crouch isn't actually entirely his fault - the way we play when he is in the team

2006/7

With Crouch - P6 W2 D3 L1 F6 A2 (Crouch has one goal)
Without Crouch - P6 W5 L1 L0 F16 A4

Coincidence? Given even when he's a sub it's as unlikely he will change the game and gain a win as it is equally unlikely he will come on and Liverpool dramatically lose, then those stats say it all

Voronin, Crouch and Leto weren't very good.

I don't understand why Rafa didn't start with his best team.
Underestimating OM? Hoping home advantage would make up for the rotation-system?
Or has Rafa just given up on the CL and is going for the premiership as major goal?

It's probably a combination of Rafa underestimating OM and the main players for us playing :censored:. Once again, the team that started should have been good enough to win. The players don't seem to be playing with confidence and it needs either a few lucky wins or a severe kick up the :censored: to change things.
