I think we should allow babbel to play up front next to Torres to give him a chance of being our second striker to Torres i know he has pace too but he can't be worse than the other strikers. 


maybe, but I think that champions league is too much important to try that position... perhaps we should do it in the league cup

sami narsi is a good player. wouldnt mind if we buy him actually. could be the next 'zidane'

I think the key to this match is to pick players who are on form....ie...yossi benayoun.

God only knows how many goals crouch would have scored if rafa had played him throughout his purple patch last season.

hope we win !! n the ,match gets telecasted live here !! havnt watched a live for ages !! last one was the game against chelsea ...saw porto live but we were :censored: poor that day ..so doesnt count ! :D

I kinda agree... this kind of tinkering is acceptable IMO after all babbel said he prefer the striker role and you know yourself better than anyone...

my line up would be

Reina

Arbeloa
Carra
Hyppia
Aurelio

Benyaoun
Gerrard
Mascherano
Riise

Torres
Babbel


Kuyt or Crouch to come on for Babbel or Riise if it doesn't work...

Pennant to come on for Benyaoun on the right wing if he's not doing well...

that's all...

What makes people think that Rafa is all of a sudden going to play a second-string side in the competition many of you believe is his only aim in life?

I'd expect to see a virtual strongest lineup with the players remaining:

                                             Reina

          Finnan             Carra                   Sami             Arbeloa


Babel                      Gerrard                Mascherano                    Aurelio

                                 Torres

                                                   Kuyt.
