Karhaz says

Why is it all the new mods are becoming obsessed with locking new topics being opened? It seems we cant talk about anything now because they are governing what is being said and what isnt. Latest argument was between 2 mods. If anyone else says something that they dont agree with then there opinion is either deleted or locked ! CHRIST SAKE its like we voted for new labour to take over this forum ! Comments in quick this will be locked in no time !

And well locked, if I may add. It's untrue that threads with different opinions are closed and locked. If you put that opinion in this thread for instance, it wouldn't be locked.

If you talk about Crouch's football and you talk about negatively, no-one will censor your opinion. If you open a new thread, there's another thread about Crouch opened, and your point is swapping Crouch for a ZX Spectrum, 9 games, and a packet of rolos then it's locked. But not because lack of freedom of speech (after all we all can read what was written) but for administering the boards so that it's more legible.

I know some people think they're very important in this boards, but this forum is not only for we the regular posters of this forum only, but also for houndreds of readers that log in or not.

I'm sure the "freedom of speech" defenders will say this is árse lícking, but see if I care, this boards needed the work the mods are doing.

If I opened a new thread about crouch then you would be fully justified but I didnt, someone else did. My response in that topic was with the person who did open that thread and that was with regards to the teams performance of late. I also added what I thought was a witty remark at the end to keep the mood light. My topic which was locked just highlighted how often more and more threads are being locked before anyone can actually reply to them. Why isnt the real world thread locked? That was opened because a member see his bum with this forum and yet to this day people are adding to it. And off the actual meaning of that thread I might add.

Read what I put as my response again in that particular Crouch thread then tell me I was petty. What I put was my opinion and before anyone else had a chance to see it and put in there response it was locked.
