While I understand Rafa's logic in not playing Torres on Saturday, in regards to the tactical decision around that [Rush also said the same].

I think it was also a message to Fernando, as if to say ''Listen kid, I paid 20 million quid for you but don't think that I won't bench you because of that. You have to earn your place here just like everyone else. This is not Atletico, you won't play every game because of your price tag."
