My expectations is not as high as to say ‘the team will win the league’, my expectations is that ‘the team can win the league’. There is nothing downbeat or negative about such an opinion.

The reason there is such discontent, is because some members have higher expectations and are frustrated because such expectations are not being met (at the present time).

We have gone from 1st place to 4th now.

Fuming even more so now.

We should get a better indication of where we will end up after ten games or so. To take the table so seriously imo is baffling considering that City are 3rd and Chelsea are 6th.

Relax for fecks sake.

1. Arsenal [6 games] - 16 points
2. Man Utd [7 games] - 14 points
3. Man City [7 games] - 13 points
4. Liverpool [6 games] - 12 points
5. Newcastle [6 games] - 11 points
6. Chelsea [7 games] - 11 points

Compare and contrast where we were with six games in, in the last five seasons.  :sleepy:

Personally I think most of the discontent is caused by TWO FACED people like you Wil who read what they want into other peoples posts, and then try justify it by saying "it wasn't aimed at you".  So why quote a post then!!!

You then start quibbling about what YOU SAID which was "you do not expect us to win the league". Thats your problem not mine.

I said "I still believe we can win the league." but I am over-reacting to the draw?

If you want to have a go at someone have a go at the Rafa out brigade not a NORMAL fan expressing disapointment.

Keep taking the tablets and try to ease your head out slowly.

You are still acting like a complete t0sser, you were wrong , you admitted it in private so just accept it and move on.

I admitted I was wrong? I don’t think so, I remember apologising for sending about an ambiguous message and for any offence I caused. I have moved on, I am enjoying Dad’s Army; you’re the dog with the bone.

Wilhelmsson and Saint. Please act respectfully to each other. There is (as you both well know) no value in continuing petty name calling within a thread. Yet another which is destined to be ruined by such daft 'tit for tat' exchanges if continued.

Come on fella's cut the playground stuff out and focus on contributing to the debate. Please.

United have already dropped points. They drew 1-1 with Portsmouth, and they drew at home with Reading 0-0. Does that ring a bell?  ???

In case it doesn't, we got the same result against Pompey and followed up with a goalless draw with Birmingham yesterday. With a game in hand.

Yes I think they will drop points, as will Arsenal. It's not a question of whether they will drop, it's how many times they will do it.

Men.

Louis Saha was apparently shot by a sniper today.

So I think it's only right for you all to stop fighting and we should pay our respects to Saha and pray for his fast recovery.

Of course they will Ciggs, they will against us definetely for a start :;): 4th place with a game in hand on 2nd and 3rd win that and we jump into second, 4 points behind the a.rse.

I would of taken that before the start of the season for sure, back in the day, the table was meaningless before the 9th, 10th game anyway.
