I'm just unsure that this is more than bad luck, and matches.

Yeah its the boots. It doesnt matter what brand they are alot of the new boots are made for comfortability and their lightweight based frame.

Not like back when I was a kid, the boots were solid, heavy as, and uncomfortable as f.uck, but as Mike said back then nobody knew what a metertarsel was.

I remember seeing some programe about players boots where most footballers admited (Beckham) I think was one, said how great they felt, but didnt have the protective strength ot whatever as the old ones, hence the reason many more footballers are getting injured or broken bones in their feet.

Yes it's the boots, but there are other factors involved as well. That's all I'm saying you bugger.  :D

We really missed Alonso yesterday the centre was like there was a huge gap missing, people have been slating him recently that he hasnt been at his best.

Not for me the lads a gem to have have his passes are sublime our wingers suffer when he is not there for his wonderful passing.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

REST IN PEACE PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
