This is a response to Rock's accusation of me being a racist which are incorrect and hold no substance what so ever. Don't lock this thread just yet, things need to be cleared out.

I won't let my name be run through mud without any basis what so ever.

My Account
My account was suspended for a week by Jonnymac and then reactivated. I posted weeks after that incident. This was after me and Bamaga Man had a bust up on the forum. Bamaga received the same punishment, and it was given to give us a chance to cool off. We both posted afterwards, but I deactivated my account after that and left.

My account was not banned.

You can search for my posts of my old username and it will say Account Waiting Authorization.

That means that account needs to be activated, and that happens when you change your email and password which I did. I never activated.

Racist Remarks

If you have no evidence,no proof,no solidarity on the issue then you should make no such accusations.

I'm assuming you're posting regarding the bust up with Bamaga. [He btw was the one who brought me back here, you can ask him that yourself].

The incident occurred in the match thread against Newcastle in February. Rightly or wrongly, Bamaga said something which wasn't bad at first. I went along with him and thought it was banter. Things got a bit personal regarding certain comments about my country,origin,etc..

I responded with tongue in cheek comments [as I thought he was fooling around] regarding where he lived. He didn't like it, and a line was crossed when he posted a certain photograph. I don't want to bring it up again with Bamaga, as we have discussed that issue since then and made peace. As I said, he was the one who brought me back here.

I received pms from members who saw what was posted and told me that I should complain to the moderators regarding said issue.

Jonny decided to give us both a week off. We both came back, I decided not post much afterwards. I even told that to Sabre over a PM, which he too can verify due to the problem with Bamaga at the time.

On both counts you are wrong. You can verify that with the moderators who where there at the time, Sabre,Bamaga himself and LFC1 whenever he returns.

I didn't have a go at you in this thread, you wanted me to provide you with information regarding my account. Which I did, I also clarified the issue regarding me and Bamaga to which you've responded and said that I was a racist.

Regarding the link that you posted. Nobody gave you an explanation as to nobody was quite aware of the situation. You thought I was banned, fair enough and nobody told you otherwise.

As I pointed out, that wasn't the case.

Apologies for any comments made to you in the match thread.

I made this thread not to continue the spat but to clear up things.

Alright lads, let me step in here to offer my two cents and hopefully to play peacemaker.

First, I think AB has every right to post this thread and respond to the allegations. Moreover, he's done so in the right way--presenting his position calmly, clearly and without abuse. FWIW, his account is pretty much how I remember things happening at the time but I'm sure there are others who were closer to the events than I was who can comment on that, if they wish.

Second, the link you've posted Rock proves nothing--it's just one member's admittedly fuzzy sense of what happened. Perhaps it's there just to explain how you came by your opinion of AB but it in no way supports an allegation of racism. But, that's not important because...

Third, The_Rock sensibly wants to put this issue to rest, as his comments indicate.

So, what do you say fellas? Shall we just chalk it up to the emotion that comes with a poor result and move on?

Hopefully, you guys can do the web version of shaking hands and putting this spat behind you. If that's a bridge too far may I respectfully urge both of you to ignore each other's posts for a while.

Don't have to apologise A.B ....we are all LFC fans after all .... We all want the club to succeed...so sometimes emotions tend to run high.

I have already forgotten what this spat is all about...
