That ship has sailed fella. If he wont do it now what makes you think hes about to? We were saying this on here last year FFS and hes still at it again.

I just hope Man Utd draw with Chelsea tomorrow. Not that its going to do any good to us as we wont win the title anyway.  :D

Or maybe we could just take a breath, give the team and manager our support and see how things work out?

I would still like a creative second striker for Christmas though.

Saint no one is saying sack Rafa or Rafa out, the simple fact of the matter is he is chopping and changing resting players for no reason atall.

He is resting our best players, we have a team now that will win the prem if they are playing as a winning team.
Which we where until he tinkered again.

Its his fault we have dropped points, please tell me why any premiership manager would fork out 20 odd million on a striker they had been crying out for and leave him on the bench for 2 games.

We havent replaced Owen, Crouch Voronin and Kuyt are not the answer Torres is.

Why does he do it why?
Its only fuckin September for crying out loud tiredness?
What a joke.

Dont them supporters that go the game every week spend thousands deserve more?

Fuck that Champions League off this season.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

"I thought we controlled the game...especially the 2nd half. We created some chances. If we took one of them, we would have won the game."......

Boring as usual  :sleep

FFS Ive heard that :censored: before.

Maybe things are starting to take its strain on Rafa

- Preassure of making big signings perform
- Falling out with Assistant manager
- Rotation not working
- International break at bad time
- Injuries

Im not trying to make excues for him. God knows everyone loves him for what hes done here so far but do you think maybe he is cracking up a bit and through his own stubborness he is unwilling to to do it any other way but his own?  :(

It looks like pako was the brains behind the rafa's coaching team.... IMO

Pako is the brains? Is this the same Pako that was with us in the last three seasons when we won the league?

Oops we didn't win the league with him did we.

"Fu.cking bollox, I'm completely fu.cked off with this rotation fu.cking bullsh.it.

There's no fluency to our play and it's because it's a different team every week, simple as that. "

Never a truer word spoken
AND HERE COMES AVI COHEN!! OH I SAY - AT THE SAME END HE'S GOT ONE BACK!!!!!!!!!!

Why are people calling for Rafas head ? Who really expected the signing of Torres to claw back a 21 point difference, we will finish a lot nearer to the winners of the league this season, but I for one didn't really expect us to win it. People calling Voronin and Crouch are equally as laughable, who   called Torres  useless when he failed to score against Portsmouth or Birmingham today ( I don't care how long he was on the pitch) he cost over 20 million remember !

The giddyness of the Derby win is now finally over and we can concentrate on closing the gap from what it was last season, we should finally accept the rotation is going to continue for as long as Rafa is the manager and all the wrist slashing and knee jerk reactions on here are not going to change that, we WILL be closer this season, todays result has taught me nothing, there is still plenty of work to be done and Chelsea and Man Uniteds bad start has not papered over the cracks.

No we don't. Today that was proven.

Not enough creativity, not enough flair, far too much predictability and static movement.

Torres or no Torres, that will be the same case. Not every team is like Derby, there are more organized sides like today who restricted us to half-chances.

And when you don't have creativity in abundance, games like today are hard to win.

We have a good enough team to challenge for the title but not to win it.

There is a difference.

I hope we see Babel and Torres up front next game, because our other 3 strikers don't do much :(

Fuck that Champions League off this season.

Only thing I can think of to explain his reluctance to play Torres at the moment is maybe Torres is mentally tired rather than physically. He's moved to a new country and had a great start, but maybe its ALL catching up with him a bit?

Either that or or he's saving him for the league cup  :D

90 minutes to break down a team as poor as Birmingham should have been twice as much time as we needed.

Theres only one positive, we didnt get beaten today, but that should NOT be the only positive against opposition like that.

As said before I'm dreading when our fixture table gets harder.

Good. Because it seems we've the players that perform for the big game. It's the little stubourn sides that set a brick wall up in front of our net because that's all they can hope for. So long as we manage to not lose to these sides or scrape out a 1-0 against teams with this tactic, I can see us doing very well this season. We certainly seem harder to beat ourselves. It's the top 4 sides that we have to take all the points off imo.
