No way we can maintain a challange for the title lt alone challange for others aswell like this.

For the first time on here I agree with Bav and if those who prefer not to take off the rose tinted glasses Man U will go above us tommorrow should they win Arsenal are already first expect the table to look something like this at the end of the season again.

1.Arsenal/Man U

2.Arsenal/Man U

3.Chelsea/Liverpool

4.Chelsea/Liverpool/Everton.

If rotation is to blame for todays result, then my name is Rolf Harris.

Torres was the only unforced attacking change. (And I reckon a lot of you seem to forget that Kuyt scored on Tuesday, not Fernando ("but he's the only one in our team who is any good, dontcha know?"...))

Settle down. It was a :censored: match, but it's not like we lost, is it?

yeah so are we paying 20 odd million for benitez to think torres is to good against the lesser teams, the league is ment to be our priority but we rest him for porto too, rafa this is your crunch season!!!

So you put a striker who relies heavily on pace on the pitch against a team that defends from the 6 yard box...

Ok then...

Oh well stick him on the bench then because a teams not defending on the half way line..  :suspect:

Let me just make it clear that I certainly do not think that Rafa should be sacked. I just think it was the wrong decision not to play Torres, that's all.

No no team rest their best players even the shit ones something needs to be said now Im afraid enough is enough.

And I dont wana hear well when he was Valencias manager he won the league with rotation (true) but with all due respect this isnt La Liga.

We want to see our best team play every single week in the prem thats all we are asking is that so hard?

I feel like crying after the start we made

You mean unbeaten and yet to concede a goal from open play?

Problem is not a striker ,nor torres getting in late ,he didn't do :censored: against porto and he played from the begining ,we need our strikers to be serviced ,we are missing the midfielder which can hold the ball and navigate the team.

Alonso out is hurting us ,and if Babel/Benayoun/Penant will not play their bast each game we are :censored:.

And of course one player will make the whole team click.

Don't you know? Torres is the messiah and it's the only reason we didn't win today. It's not the fact that even with our strongest line up available [with Gerrard,Mascherano,Pennant,Babel,Kuyt, etc] we couldn't create clear cut opportunities.

No, that's only because Torres didn't play. We all know that when he plays, things go right like they did against Porto.

Bruce just said on Sky that he went to Anfield to frustrate LFC.

Short of simply firing one shot after another at the opposition goal, there's not much one can do against a team with those tactics.

Lets sack Rafa, then get another manager with another five year plan who sells all our players and buys new ones.

Or maybe we could just take a breath, give the team and manager our support and see how things work out?

I would still like a creative second striker for Christmas though.

I hate Birmingham, and I f*cking hate Steve Bruce, the cowardly little wanktank.

Why is Phil Thompson watching Middlesborough-Sunderland and not us?

It's all his fault, the c*nt...

Not really...its the managers fault.Rotation equals no competition in the squad!

No competition in the squad equals players not giving 100% because they know next week someone else will get a 'rest'!

RAFFAS FAULT

Get a spine of players and stick to them ...I mean even 4 like Reina Carra Gerrard and Torres and rotate around that..we have the depth.

Dont drop the best in the world..did arsenal ever start without a fit Henry or UTD without a fit Van Nistlehorse?

Yes, they did actually.

Usually against sh*t teams at home.

But then - that doesn't fit the argument, does it?

Sorry Lando but Arsenal, Man U or Chelsea never rest their best players in the prem never.

no cos like Aldo has just said Torres can make something out of nothing and no other striker for us can do this!whats the point of resting him this early in the season?

You should always bet on the opposition.

So if we win, you are happy.

If we lose, you get money.

If we draw, you get nothing. Unless we keep another clean sheet and still remain unbeaten.
