Still a long way to go.

At last well said :bowdown

we have said that Every year, are you still going to say that in December? when we draw every game?

If they've been saying it every year, then maybe their expectations are unrealistic. Until this year, I never believed we had a serious chance of winning the title and even before this season started I was unconvinced.

the reaction or should i say over-reaction after these kinda games is quite amazing...

I didn't think the team played too badly... it's just one of those games where the team who defended did everything right and us who attacked didn't have the lucky break... these kinda games happens especially against clubs like birmingham... who come to our stadium intent on getting a draw...

I wouldn't say it's "rotation" when only torres was not in the line up... having said that he should have started because you can clearly see his trickiness created some problems in the end...

I think kuyt did very well whether he played at the forward position or as a winger later on... his crosses were surprisingly precise...

gerrard is not producing his best in this game again... he doesn't look very inspired...

mascherano's tackling is superb but sometimes his passes seem to go astray...

hyppia and carragher controlled the backline without much difficulty

arbeloa did quite well as a right back...

crouch is hopeless at heading... the free header should've at least hit the target... and to think that there are some ppl who thinks that he can head... should sell him while you can get some money out of him and go for a class winger

all in all this is not a disasterous performance... we should all just move on instead of blaming it all on rafa... sometimes his reputation (of tinkering) precedes him... I didn't see any tinkering here..

Ok im going to go out on a limb here and predict that we finish 4th in a lacklustre manner and perhaps get to one of the domestic cup finals.

No way we can maintain a challange for the title lt alone challange for others aswell like this.

Things happen. A draw is not a disaster. It's a point. Players are still settling in and gelling.

Big fooking deal, Arsenal are FOUR points ahead. OH NO!!!! Four points!!!! Arghhhhh!!!!

Just chill.

Let me just make it clear that I certainly do not think that Rafa should be sacked. I just think it was the wrong decision not to play Torres, that's all.

No no team rest their best players even the shit ones something needs to be said now Im afraid enough is enough.

And I dont wana hear well when he was Valencias manager he won the league with rotation (true) but with all due respect this isnt La Liga.

We want to see our best team play every single week in the prem thats all we are asking is that so hard?

I feel like crying after the start we made

Rotation equals no competition in the squad!

How do you figure that one out? Christ on a bike.

liverpool needs a playmaker in middle.. to much winger-action.. voronin was lost in the field

Well if Gerrard isn't capable of being our playmaker then I don't know where the hell were gonna find one who could be!

If rotation is to blame for todays result, then my name is Rolf Harris.

Torres was the only unforced attacking change. (And I reckon a lot of you seem to forget that Kuyt scored on Tuesday, not Fernando ("but he's the only one in our team who is any good, dontcha know?"...))

Settle down. It was a :censored: match, but it's not like we lost, is it?

yeah so are we paying 20 odd million for benitez to think torres is to good against the lesser teams, the league is ment to be our priority but we rest him for porto too, rafa this is your crunch season!!!

So you put a striker who relies heavily on pace on the pitch against a team that defends from the 6 yard box...

Ok then...

Exactly.

Smaller teams play very defensively and are tough to break down.

Birmingham won't be the last team to use such tactics against the bigger teams.

That's the way it is.

Well if this becomes a regular occurence you can bet your Apple Pie that the owners will be having a few light words with Rafa.

I hate Birmingham, and I f*cking hate Steve Bruce, the cowardly little wanktank.

Why is Phil Thompson watching Middlesborough-Sunderland and not us?

It's all his fault, the c*nt...

Not really...its the managers fault.Rotation equals no competition in the squad!

No competition in the squad equals players not giving 100% because they know next week someone else will get a 'rest'!

RAFFAS FAULT

Get a spine of players and stick to them ...I mean even 4 like Reina Carra Gerrard and Torres and rotate around that..we have the depth.

Dont drop the best in the world..did arsenal ever start without a fit Henry or UTD without a fit Van Nistlehorse?

Yes, they did actually.

Usually against sh*t teams at home.

But then - that doesn't fit the argument, does it?

Only solace is that Arsenal have played 4 games at home..out of 6..so they can lose points...but Manc & Chea$ki are catching up too...
We should have won either this or Chelsea at least.

Of course but that is hard to comprehend by some when they're such experts of football.
