We can forget about the title if a fully fit 20 million pound striker on the bench is a regular occurrence.

I am absolutely raging with Benitez right now.  Fair enough the team he put out should still have easily beaten Birmingham at home, but there's 2 games we've drawn in the league that we surely would have won with Torres starting.  In both games we looked more of a threat with him on the pitch.

The Derby game was a false raise of hope.

OMG

cheer up and get a grip lad

were ok

No we aren't. This side lacks creativity to open teams up like Birmingham. It's been evident for quite some time.

Has feck all to do with Torres playing or not playing. When you have ten out of the eleven strongest players in the line up possible, and still can't find a way then that says it all.

They came for a point and credit to them. But to start saying it's all over on the back of a draw and a point collected is defeatest.

We will be ok this season as Arsenal will not sustain this run they are on.

Man U are also struggling and Chelsea have exploded.

We have time and to drop points at this moment in the EPL is not putting us out of the title race.

Absolute rubbish!

Call it defeatest but in 3 months what will you call it then? We will still be where we are, and thats nowhere near the title.

How can you say Chelsea have exploded, did they lose 4 on he trot or something? So what Mourinho left, they still have a :censored: good squad.

And what makes you think Arsenal cant sustain this run?

The title race is over and Rafa has :censored: it up for us. Im sick of the sight of Voronin already, why the :censored: does he always start hes :censored:. Where the :censored: was Benayoun?

:censored:

Are chelsea above us in the league NO

Are Man U above us in the league NO

Arsenal were always going to have a good start as Henry's memory needed to be erradicated and quickly.

the last few seasons we have started pants and dropped lots of points and been out of it buy November.

I am optimistic and i except people fustration but what is pathetic is to start worring about the title know.

Rafa will not learn the lesson of best 11 week in week out in the premiership in a million years, After the money spent on SO much youngsters for the Reserves in the summer we could have strenthened the first team further.

I remember last year saying the game at Sheffield would seriously damage our tiltle chances and i have the feelling that the last two prem results are a bad bad sign.

Arsenal even without Henry are a force because Wenger basically plays the same team all the time, and even when he doesnt only changes 1 or 2 players not the one's that are most important.

This has been a bad day at the office and i have a feeling if the Prem title does not came to Anfield this year we will be saying goodbye to Rafa.

There is a long way to go yet. We just need to beat the top teams to make up for this.

Well said, Saint!

FACT.....We will never win the premiership with Rafa Benitez.  If he hasn't got to grips with the english league and what it takes to win it after three years, he never will.

Seriously WTF ? Is it not just stupid to leave Torres on bench? what the hell? I seriously cant not believe rafa sometimes, There goes the premiership right there and then, from the last 2 EPL games only 2pnts from 6pnts, that is horrible considering the teams we played.

I think a few people here will crucify (i don't have to mention names)...they will prob get u within the hour....  :p

BTW, fans were booing big time at the end of the final whistle.... I think more and more people are getting fed-up.

Rafa bought most of the players..... If players aren't making intelligent runs or beating their players...its because they are incapable of doing it. The fault lies with the manager. He is the one who bought them in.....

If rotation is to blame for todays result, then my name is Rolf Harris.

Torres was the only unforced attacking change. (And I reckon a lot of you seem to forget that Kuyt scored on Tuesday, not Fernando ("but he's the only one in our team who is any good, dontcha know?"...))

Settle down. It was a :censored: match, but it's not like we lost, is it?

To be honest Lando its worse than having won one and lost one of our last 2 games  :(

Still never mind Kewell should be back soon

Hopefully this three match bad spell and in particular this match will make people take off their blind faith spectacles. Liverpool aren’t invincible and at times results won’t always go in the teams favour, Rafa’s selection wasn’t too bad IMO, it was the lads who did not deliver today and that will happen throughout the season.

It was a disappointing result, but remember the team are only mounting a consistent challenge this season, which the team hasn’t been able to do for a long time, so let’s take it step by step and keep some perspective.

This is only one result, it’s a poor result, but there’s a long left to go and who is to say what the future holds? Arsenal could go through a poor spell later on in the season. That said I am bitterly disappointed with the result and the team needs to be able to beat teams like Birmingham in their sleep.
